Alexander falls is an absolutely beautiful place. My family went on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only ones there. Access is not too far from the sea to sky highway and there was lots of wildlife in the area. The waterfall is one of the prettiest I've ever seen and the surrounding area is beautiful. The only aspect that made it a bit challenging was that the parking lot was still covered in at least 8 inches of slushy snow in mid May.

This place is just beautiful! The Canadians were able to preserve nature for us and the next generations. This is another magnificent place to just marvel at the wonders of nature. Although we stayed just a few minutes, we left the place in a better mood than we were travelling a few minutes before. A must see while you're in Vancouver or travelling to Whistler.

This is a beautiful spot off the Callaghan Valley Access road ( one of the best bear spotting stretches in the area). We actually found the falls by accident, we had made the treck in to see the Whistler Olympic Park, but found it had closed for the season. We saw a sign for the falls on our way back. They are off a gravel road which led us to the surprising Alexander Falls. There is a nice viewing area with a great photo opportunity....

Alexander falls is beautiful place! In the middle of forest there it is ! Worth to see it! Perfect place for picnic! Bring camera!!!!

I recommend packing a picnic and spending a bit of time just admiring nature. It was a very beautiful spot even in early fall. We did not spot any wildlife but there are bear warning posted so be aware. There are tables and restrooms on site. We loved it.

Spectacular waterfalls near Whistler with diverse points of view allowing to make good photos. The path around the fall is very well maintained. To see.

You can only get there by driving south on 99 to the Callahan Valley turn off (right) to wards the Olympic venue. Its a very nice drive and pretty water fall but don't expect Victoria Falls!

Apart from the Attractiveness of the falls themselves (best seen when there is plenty of water running) you also get a very pleasant drive up the valley from the highway. We also had the benefit of seeing a bear grazing at the side of the road and the locals say this bit of road is one of the best places to see bears.The parking for the falls is just 150 metres off the road and you can see the falls from the car park so a good place to visit with an infirm or elderly relative who can get the whole experience without having to walk any distance at all.

Conveniently located just off the highway. The view of the falls is great, but it would be nice to be able to go closer to the water.

Alexander Falls is just south of Whistler off of the main highway (Sea to Sky). If you use Google maps to find the exact location for the turn off from the main highway you will not have any trouble finding it. It was about 20 minutes from Whistler. We arrived around 8:30 am and were hoping to encounter some bears but no such luck. We were the only ones at the Falls; there is no hike to the Falls as they are right by the parking lot (which is good in case you did encounter a bear!). You can not go down to the Falls but the view is great from the observation deck. Alexander Falls is right by the Olympic Village but it does not open until 10 am.

After all the reviews that mentioned seeing bears, we were a bit disappointed, but the waterfall was beautiful -- and the short drive off the highway was worth it.

We went at 6am and saw the sun rise and seeing the falls so early and quiet was brillant. Worth also going for sunset too we hear.

A lovely spot to end an early morning bear hunt. What could be better? Bears a plenty and no people. Go early to enjoy nature as it should be.

Beautiful falls! When we visited, there were a lot of clouds but the view was spectacular nevertheless...

Spouse was reading the map and our directions were not the best. Is further off the highway but so worth it. We stopped at three falls on the way back to Vancouver... All were lovely.
