confederation park

The summer is wonderful as many people of different backgrounds have numerous outdoor activities, like bocci ball and basketball to name a couple. There are elders alongside with children and tents that sell Italian food for a small amount and music and happiness fills the air....but get there early or there will be no parking....this park is constantly filled with people having a great time.....

Early morning till late evening every day scenic park in Burnaby. ..named Confederation Park.A sunny day childern/family active park with new n lovely play rides.The scenic snow clad mountains in the back add beauty to the park walk n play in winter.A must to be there if one is in Vancouver/Burnaby and nearby public library n swimming pool is an added attraction to the family visiting here.

The park has a great playground. On a sunny weekend day, lots of kids on the two large play structures. (One for 5+ and one for 2-5). My daughter really likes both, along with the climbing merry-go-round.There are plenty of swings and other spinning equipment too.Combined with the ride on trains (Burnaby Central Railway) across the street makes a wonderful few hours for little ones.

First time I came to the park, I truly enjoyed the walking trails around the forest.Now I have discovered there is so much more to the park, I am going to come back with my family to experience the train ride.Last visit was about 3 years ago.
