I love this place and always make a stop here when I am in the Kelowna area. It is great for any age, though some ages may not make all the way you can still see enough sites by doing even a portion of the trail. I love the interpretive signs along the way that describe some of the workings of the old KVR line. It is such a peaceful experience. And what a great way to preserve a piece of local history and make it interactive!

We visited Myra Canyon from Myra Station car park on the 9th March. The drive up to the car park was bumpy and windy but ok to do in a normal sedan car. We walked 4 kms of the path from Myra Station, there was a foot of snow covering the path in some areas but is rapidly melting due to the beautiful 14 degree day. It's a beautiful walk with gorgeous views of Kelowna and the canyon. Definitely recommend the trip. Outdoor toilets available in the Myra station car park.

Bicycling the 12 km loop in Myra Canyon was a highlight of my trip to Kelowna last year. The trip was not hard, assuming you know how to bicycle), with a spectacular view of the valley above Kelowna. 18 train trestles to cross and 2 tunnels (which we used to escape a bit of rain) makes it a lot of fun. to You can rent a good bicycle there for a reasonable price, or bring your own. The trail is well maintained, and we saw many kids beating their parents en route! If you don't like bike riding, it is also a fun trail to walk. There are lots of wildflowers and streams along the loop. Washrooms are available. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the many scenic viewpoints (actually there is nothing but scenic viewpoints on the entire loop!).

See amazing scenery, fabulous views and experience history while biking or walking the Myra canyon trestles

We have biked the trail twice and it never gets boring. The road up has been improved and the complete trail is open this year. It was blocked last year due to maintenance on one of the trestles. Highly recommend it as a cycling outing. Bring a lunch and enjoy the many rest stops along the way. The terrain is flat and smooth and can be done by anyone.

Wonderful recreation area...great for walking or biking. The views are outstanding and the history of the area will keep you interested for a full day. Just another reason why it's called "Beautiful BC"

Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts! Walk, pedal or run the Kettle Valley rail bed trail in Myra Canyon Park and see some incredible views of the beautiful Okanagan Valley below. Bike rentals available, and if you have a dog - they will love it! Best in the summer as it is snow covered in the winter, and at a higher elevation, so wait until the sun is shinning and the snow is gone:)

The view and surrounding are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Make sure to have your camera to take stunning photos. You can walk or bike the trails and trestles. I can't wait to go do it again.

We go there every summer. Specially when company and family comes to town. Only 15 minutes from downtown. It encompasses 18 trestles. You can bike it or walk it. If you have 2 vehicles you can park at both ends and meet in the middle...switch keys and walk or bike to the other end . You can spend the whole day out there, and even have a chance of visiting wildlife. Some of the trestles are even up to 200 and more feet to the valley below. I sure recommend the visit. It is great for all ages.

The location is almost impossible to go if you don't have a car. But you can't see this kind of view anywhere in town. It's worth the try!
