We just spent a wonderful morning here communing with nature and chasing the little white ball around. The front nine holes were closed for green aeration, so we played the back nine twice, but we were the first group out so it was very nice to be the first ones out on the greens that were in immaculate shape. The course can be quite challenging if you are not hitting it straight but it plays fair.Very enjoyable!

Myrtle Point GC is a definite must for all golfers. The setting is beautiful with great views, letting the weekend hacker forget the triple bogeys! It is a challenging course for low handicap players and is manageable for higher handicap players making it the ideal course for family play? The staff is professional and friendly. The area of Powell River provides many accommodation options and a variety of activities, making this a great destination for a golf holiday. It is a great value for the above average course.

A professionally designed full-size course with 5 sets of tees. Excellent small town course with challenging layout and green natural space between most holes. Close to the ocean.

Great way to spend an afternoon, very pretty course and easy to get a tee time - not sure why more tourists aren't here

incredible views, excellent golf. This club has a driving range, encourages youth golf, has a par 3 set up for beginners and a championship 18 hole course. The club house overlooks Malaspina straight and Myrtle rocks an awesome view.

Myrtle Point Golf Club...I'm about to leave one of the most beautiful spots I ever visited - Powell River, British Columbia - I've been here 17 times since 2005 visiting dear friends, and we always have time for a game of golf or two, Powell River has two very good golf courses, Myrtle Point with 18 holes and Nootka Dunes with 9, equally good but perhaps Nootka sometimes a little better - Myrtle Point after a rainy period can be two wet to play on, Nootka seldom is, it's located on higher ground and is situated closer to Powell River..- Nevertheless, Myrtle Point is unsurpasable with it's beautiful greens, panoramic views towards Malaspina Strait facing Texada Island, Harwood Island and Vancouver Island with its snowy mountains, e.g. Mount Washington, the highest.- Apart from being a wonderful golf course Myrtle Point has a lot to offer for wildlife-enthusiasts like me:..you might spot otters in the ponds and Great Blue Herons, deers, black bears, moose or elks..and baldheaded eagles soaring high above us all - keep your camcorder or camera ready - You'll need a car to reach the 6-7 kilometers to Myrtle Point from Powell River, even though you might rely on the local public transportation at regular hours or, of course, taxies - although, so far I never saw a golfer with his heavy golf bag getting off a bus at Myrtle Point, and I probably never will ;o)- Happy Holiday, Powell River is an adventure to experience, the friendliest place I knowSuzanne Aagaard, retired tour-guide, Denmark

This 18 hole gem deserves your business. The front 9 plays like a Scottish links course while the back 9 is a rolling woodlands layout. Plenty of challenges, rewards for accuracy. You'll be back.

At no more than $50 for 18 holes during peak weekend rates, Myrtle Point is superb value for all golfers. There are four sets of tees that stretch the course to nearly 7000yds so even the scratch golfer can have a challenge. There isn't continual elevation changes or long distances in between holes, making for an enjoyable walking round. The covered driving range & practice areas add to this great facility. The proshop could do with some more inventory.Skeeter Jack's is now managing the restaurant so the food is great & they're selling locally crafted beer (Townsite Brewing) on tap.

Beautiful and delightful greens. The clubhouse is not fancy but the food was good and everyone was really friendly.
