弓河瀑布 Bow Falls正好位于Banff Springs Hotel下方。玛丽莲梦露1953年拍摄的电影《大江东去》《River of No Return》以此为取景地。

在fairmont酒店旁边不远，可以一同去。很漂亮的瀑布，因为是冰川水，所以和其他地方的瀑布还是有所不同的，奶白色的河流很养眼。沿着水流的方向有一条小trail，很幽静，如果有时间可以走一走。我们去的那天下了一场小暴雨，雨后地上比较湿，所以没走多远就折回了。水面上还可以玩漂流，因为banff的景点实在太多了，所以我们也没有详细打听

Lovely walk along the river from the end of Banff Avenue (cross the River at the end of Banff Avenue and turn left). Walk way undulates with some steps, giving low and higher level views of the falls.We spotted Elk in woodland next to the River.Good photo points for the Falls.

Nice for a little walk in the morning or afternoon. Not super exciting but a nice view to the Banff Springs hotel and to the bow falls.

Well worth the stop. Beautiful natural sight. Paths well maintained and easy to maneuver. Beautiful spot for photographers.

A landmark in Banff. Hiked along the riverside, but it closed in the early spring due to the ice break up.

Probably quite spectacular in spring when the melt waters are running but in winter it's just a nice riverside walk - apart from the over-wary concern for the safety of walkers which results in a section of the walk being closed off. Why? Because there's a few steps with snow on. Truly a country which treats everyone as if they are 5 years old.

What a lovely walk. Views and scenery are what Banff is about. Falls were frozen making for great photos.

so much to see in banff this was not on my list but squeezed it in glad we did it was amazing half frozen

Drive right up to the side of the river, walk 20m's and boom awesome white wash rapids, flowing down bow river. Epic little spot to show tourists or visiting family for us locals who live here. I mean geez id take my grandma here, its very beautiful especially on a clear day with mt Rundle and cascade visbale. Gets super busy in summer when its melt, winter its cool and frozern. Lots of room to park cars and even have a bbq!

Wow we had been to Banff before but did not know about the falls, so it was a great surprise and well worth the drive around to see the views of it from the river.

Worth the trip to see! Gorgeous in winter, crystal clear ice and water! Scenic walk back into Banff, through amazing frozen creeks.
