(Treasures of the Mineral World)。

It is a large scale local museum with myriad of subjects and history of the region. To have a knowledge about the former days of western Canada, minerals, aboriginal communities and such, this may be a good opportunity to visit this museum. it is obviously good and beneficial for kids. It is located at the Calgary city center.

Went to see Oh, Canada! exhibit and realized the exhibit is actually split over 4 galleries! The asian collections were interesting to me, as well as historical, but they are not very large collections. The visit was much shorter than we anticipated - you can go through the museum rather quickly.

The one and only thing about calgary I thought was terrible. We got in for free as it was family day but still wanted a refund.

I love this place! There are 4 floors of unique and incredible sights.I'd strongly recommend looking into the feature exhibit ahead of time though. On my most recent visit, the feature exhibit did not interest me at all, while prior exhibits definitely appealed to me much more.A fantastic place for both people of all ages!

We went on Family Day which was a free event at the museum. There are 3 floors of exhibits, many with hands on projects for kids. We found the museum well laid out, the staff helpful and the exhibits very well done. For anyone who wants a history of southern Alberta, this is the place to go. As a former Calgarian, I was very impressed with the Mavericks exhibit and the pieces of history that the museum has saved. There is a wonderful aboriginal exhibit and the various art galleries are breathtaking. You do need a day here to soak it all in. We will go back on another quieter day. Even with admission, compared to other museums we have toured in Alberta, this ranks the best.

What an amazing Gallery/Museum. You could spend all day in the Museum. Great amount of Calgary history. Throughly enjoyed the Oh Canada Exhibition. Was very impressed & shocked at how reasonable it was to go in.

Some very nice and well-laid out exhibits.Wife and I went on Family Day, when Chevron Canada sponsored free entry to the museum.Even over-run with kids, exhibits were easy to see and move around. You're definitely going to need some time to see everything though. We spent quite a lot of time on the second floor in the Asian sculpture exhibit, and ran out of time. Definitely going to go back.

You will want to spend at least the day here. So much history plus a huge rock and armor collection. The last time I was there they had an art collection, The gift shop sells some amazing stuff as well. The Museum is in the downtown core and easily accessible by the city transit.

The Glenbow is an exceedingly pleasing space and is not only a museum but also a first-rate art gallery with many interesting visiting shows. It also has a wonderful gift shop.

A beautiful peaceful place, good facilities for elderly and wonderful exhibits. I liked that it was easy to get around and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the exhibits.
