relatively cheap, great eucalyptus steam (turkish) bath and two dry saunas, fun to sit in hot jacuzzi when snow falls, nice rest in yurtas and fun dipping in the river. But not very good, lukewarm smoked sauna (russian style) and cold bath full of chlorine. Oh the view from sauna to the frozen waterfall was simply amazing.

Spent a couple of hours with my spouse going around the different pools, Jacuzzis and saunas not to mention the dip in the beautiful river. Even had a small lunch at their lunch area. Ended the day with a duo massage. First time here but not the last.

when Hicking and after 5pm the price drop down so we stop. Nice spa, you could rent bathrobe, towel and water bottle ( the have free paper glass if you wish to save money)

We booked in for a 1 hour Swedish massage and after 10 minutes I was frustrated to the point of almost asking to stop. Common sense says you don't assign a tiny little, weak masseuse for a guy wanting a Swedish massage. The manageress thought she could justify it and suggested next time i come back (and fork out more money) they could match me with a different masseuse. Luckily the baths afterwards helped ease the frustration! That part was good.

This is a wonderful place to relax. The Spa gives you direct access to the river where you can cool down after visiting one of the saunas or hot tubs. Spend the day there, enjoy a massage in one of their yurt, and stay at the Iris Bleu B&B, just beside the Spa, where you will enjoy a most amazing dinner.

Small hot tub, not enough to contain the crowd that day. Kids running everywhere. Not pleasant neither relaxing.

The setting by the river is beautiful. There are 3 different jacuzzis, 2 regular saunas, 1 eucalyptus steamroom (a necessity for a spa to be good in my point of view) and a smoke sauna (wasn`t open on my 2nd visit here). The only relaxation "rooms" are 2 big tents. It's a bit boring to always go back to the same, but they are nice and warm and the chairs very comfortable. What pulls my mark down is the state of the changing rooms. They are very basic and feel more like gym locker rooms than a spa changing room. There is even some mold in the shower and the faucets are loose.

Really enjoyed the experiance of this spa. The front desk staff was very friendly and took the time to explain. The change room was nothing special. I found the spa to be well maintained and clean. It was not busy at all (mabye 10-15 other couples): went between 1pm-4:30pm. The temperature of everything was perfect! I really enjoyed sitting in one of the two hot tubs and looking at the beautiful scenery. The relaxation pool was incredible because of the size, location and lights. The indoor sauna was great because you can look at the natural waterfall. If I was to be really picky I would recommend wearing flip flops because you may be walking on salt or stoned areas. The outdoor, house sauna door was very short and I was a bit dirty coming out (wearing a white bikini). The waterfall was not working. Not sure if there was bathrooms closer, but I didn't see any so I went back to the changeroom twice to go (walking through eating area and front desk). The relaxation room was enjoyable however it would be amazing if they had overhead heaters and/or more heaters other than the one stove for that large room. The blue colours made it feel less natural.I would for sure go back to this spa, but it would not be the first on my list. Would like to try a massage next time.

If looking for a different spa experience this is the place. The best time I found is the spring time when the water is rushing in full glory. Having a massage in one of the tents facing the raging water is both soothing and exhilarating at the same time. Though the hot tubs are usually full as it is very popular - I go mainly for the theraputic massage. There are also the sauna, the small water fall pool and oother ammenities.

We had such a wonderful time at Spa Bolton. We had planned to go to the Nordic Spa but our B&B suggested Bolton because it is significantly cheaper. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. We arrived at 3:45 because our other activities didn't last as long as expected. The woman graciously agreed to honor the after 5pm price ($19.99 compared to Nordic's $32 after-5 price) and we were on our way. The spa is gorgeous and so relaxing. There was a wide selection of "hot" options including a room/tent heated by a wood fire stove. The river was beautiful and an excellent "cold" option. The eucalyptus steam room was incredible. We would recommend this place to any travelers in need of a relaxing experience. Bring a book to enjoy on the lounge chairs! Bring your own towel to avoid having to rent one.
