I went to Quinn farm this weekend for the first time in years. My 2 kids have been there on school field trips before. This Saturday the place was PACKED! They had 2 or 3 people just directing traffic in the parking lot. If each person is being charged $5 entrance and apples are $20 per bag, this place must be printing money! I tried to justify the cost, and the best I could come up with is that our fruit could not have been more fresh, and the 3 kids had a blast (3, 5 1/2 and 7). No doubt it's a nice family place, but next time I'll be making my apple pies from store-bought apples unless I discover a cheaper orchard within driving distance (that shouldn't be too hard). They only had 3 varieties to chose from that day and it took all of 20 minutes to fill up 2 bags. I think they prey on the fact that parents will dish out the cash once they arrive so not to make the trip a waste or disappoint the kiddies. I got taken for a ride! At least offer a discount for the younger ones or something...

The new additions to this class apple picking venue are FABULOUS! The kids had a blast not only apple picking but on the mega tricycle race, 2 mini corn mazes, tire pyramid, yellow ducky water race, huge tube slide, mini hay castle maze with slide and mini-farm!If you are looking for a full day event with the kids and spending a nice day outdoors this is the place for you. Many of the you pick farms are amping up their attraction factor in competing for your business that I think the customer only benefits. If you're looking just to pick apples, this place is not for you.They charge a $5 entrance for all and you get a small bag for an additional $20, this includes the tractor ride to the orchard. You're paying for the experience, not so much the apples.Great day! These people thought of everything even a handy outdoor hand washing station with disinfectant!

we went with our 3 year old and 20 month old. it is great for very young kids, lots to do and animals to see. apple trees with low hanging fruit are easy picking for little ones. lunch was delicious too.

We visited Quinn Farm in September with our toddler and had a fantastic time. We went for the apple picking, which was great. There were five types of apple available and they all tasted fantastic.There is a fun tractor ride to and from the orchard. Back on farm, there are a number of great activities for kids: pony rides, farm animals, a small maze, tricycles and a park area.Quinn Farm has delicious treats available at the snack stand, including hot dogs served up on their very own buns. There is also a store and bakery with a wide variety of local products.

We spent about half of a lovely Fall day here with 2 1/2 year-old twins and a very good time was had by all. We started with a walk through the animal barn and petting a few sheep. The twins were too afraid of the other animals but many people petted the others as well. The children loved the tricycle area and I think we will try to get similar trikes for home - very good quality. A few minutes in the hay house and then a little manual water pumping with an old style pump and then off for a ride in a wagon pulled by a tractor. That took us a few hundred meters to the apple picking area. There were about 4 varieties of apple available so we picked Cortlands to cook and MacIntosh to eat. Then a tractor ride back to the main area and back to see the animals and play on an old tractor before coming home. The twins slept like little logs for 3 hours ! The cost was $5 each, for all of us = $20, plus $20 per medium shopping bag of apples. I find that a bit steep, but there were many apples knocked to the ground, which costs the farm something. Overall, a very pleasant day and we will be back.To management: 1) a few picnic tables out in the fields, under the trees, and away from the hustle and bustle would be nice. We ate sitting on the ground under an apple tree, but it was a bit damp. 2) it may be time to upgrade the restrooms a bit. I can see an effort being made to keep them clean, but all doors should lock, etc., 3) perhaps a few more animals, ponies, for instance, would be outstanding !

Extremely good pies and services the ladies working there were fantastic, friendly, and welcoming. Cant wait to go back over and over!

we went strawberry picking here in late June. Lots of fun. We will be going back for blueberry and raspberry picking, for sure. A bit pricey, though, compared to otheru-pick locations, because there is a per person fee on top of the price of whatever you pick, however the fee covers the access to a playground and small farmhouse with animals, so that is nice with small children. Delicious baked goods can be purchased in their store. Liked the shortcakes, pumpkin cookies and strawberry muffins, but the berry pie was a bit too sweet. I love this place!

We went to Quinn`s farm this past fall...first time in at least 5 years...won`t be rushing back anytime soon.We found it unbelievable that they charge to get in to the field area...I can`t remember the price to get a wagon ride into the apple orchards...but it was way too much for 5 of us to pay for the ride just to get a sack of apples.

pick apples in fall, jams, home made cakes, tractor ride. Pick blueberries, strawberries all sorts even your own christmas tree

Ohh my gosh ... what an amazing time had by my 6 & 3 year old. A tractor, apples,animals, games and the best Dutch Apple pie EVER !!! Cant go wrong...but wait...... The Quinn farm employes are AMAZING !!! It was my first but definitely not my last ...Returning for pumpkins!!! Price: 20$ a bag of apples & 2 $ per person regardless of age . PS.... Don't forget to get some Fresh Eggs, asparagus, apple jus and apple pie to go

We go there every year with the kids either to pick apples or pumpkins or just to go see the animals. You have to try their apple strudel! Delicious! Very well organized even when there is a lot of people on weekends!

Have gone in the Fall since our kids were little. Pumpkin season is the most fun. Our best buy is anything apple especially their apple Betty. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Smells good and the tour of the place in order to pick your best pumpkin is great for the kids.

The buffets at Quinns are done well, and it's relatively small size makes it accessible and worthwhile.

I think they have a very good marketing person because I see their name everywhere, every website,about things to do in Montreal every family magazine etc. It is a nice farm but they don`t have anything special. We paid 20 dollars to pickup blue berries. $13 for the 3L basket and $2 for each person. There is a tractor ride but it also does not have anything special BTW blue berries were really delicious Not a waste of time but don`t expect a lot and they do not offer corn picking anymore

We're locals and go here often. It's about 35 minutes from downtown Montreal - Its definitely out of the way but worth a visit!There's something always going on at the farm so check their websites if you're planning a trip. Corn picking is super fun, especially mid to end of August. The corn plants are about 6 feet tall during that time so its really fun for the kids and adults too. If you have young children and are wondering if its dangerous, don't worry its not but you can't go in there with strollers....if you have super young ones, you're better off putting them in a carry on (Bjorn) and the toddlers will have to walk but its fun!!They also have blueberry picking, thats also fun. You pay for a basket and fill it up yourself. I've also gone pumpkin picking here which is also super fun. They decorate the barn with hay and pumpkins, you go on a tractor ride to the field and pick your own pumpkins. This also isnt really stroller friendly but friendlier than corn picking.Once you're done with picking your stuff, there's a little farm in the front area....nothing special which is too bad because I'm sure the kids would love seeing more animals. Thats usually always a hit so its lacking here.The front area also has a pretty large seating area to do a picnic, have a birthday, eat your corn, etc....when its cold or rainy, that area can be sealed off with tented windows so that's convinient - you're still outdoors but it feels closed off.In the summer, they have a really cool honey demonstation...if they don't do it, ask for it and I'm sure they'll accomodate. Its really cool! The guy shows you a real honey tray and how they scrape it off and put it into the machine......You know your honey is super fresh when you're watching it come of the honey comb!!!Aside from honey, they also sell fruits that they cultivate (apples, berries, corn, pumpins, squash, etc....). They also make fresh pies, different flavored honey, jams, muffins, breads, cakes, tarts, etc....basically everything!! The pies are AMAZING, especially if you're lucky enough to get them straight out of the oven - we usually buy 2, one to eat there and the other for home!! Soooo yummy!We've had my sons birthday party there and we've also been to one....both parties were successful. They keep you in the group so we got out own private tractor ride and tour of the whole farm, we had a guide stay with us for picking and brought us back. For my sons birthday, we picked corn and then they boiled it for us, super fresh, super yummy! They reserved tables for us together and I brought my own table clothes, plates, etc....everyone had a great time and they were very helpful.I really can't say anything bad about this place except the lack of actual farm animals (if I remember correctly, they have some sheep and pigs)I would definitely recommend going - if you don't bring a lunch then the whole thing shouldnt be more than 90 minutes...if you bring a lunch then I guess 2-2.5 hours.
