small and compact with many rooms and floors.i prefer a more open flooring space.many walkers crowd the aisle.still fun enough, payoffs are never much.

We traveled by coach to Charlevoix...a lovely ride from our hotel in Quebec City. It stopped at a local cheese factory and store...and the gorgeous scenery and views were pointed out by the guide on tbe bus. Most on the bus were going on a whale watch...but 4 of us were being dropped off at Charlevoix...having heard about it from friends. What a spot in Canada this is...breathtaking views of gardens, flowers, fountains, terraces, and ocean. The Casino is adjacent, but separate from the Fairmont Hotel. It is the most beautiful casino we have been to...architecturally it compliments the hotel...a feat which had to have required very skilled artisans and architects. The interior of the Casino is beautiful...very clean, easy to navigate...very helpful staff...pristine restrooms. There is a fabulous restaurant on the lower level, which we wanted to try (based on raves from friends), but it was close for some reason on this day. We did dine in the hotel and it was glorious...I already have a review posted on that venue. I guess we will just gave to return to Casino de Charlevoix on our spring or fall 2015 Quebec trip...to try our luck again and to finally try the Casino restaurant. It was a wonderful day well spent.

It was off season, the casino was not busy at all, and was actually rather quiet. We're not gamblers, but went in for drinks and had a snack at the bar. We were disappointed there wasn't some entertainment of some kind, even a DJ would have been nice. The casino looks nice, though, and the bar service was friendly and prompt.

Clean, chic, very interesting despite the fact that it is not extremely big. I have heard some people say it's small. But the size isn't everything. Tables, roulette and plenty of machines for me.

Tables grabbed my money, but the Volcano machines gave it back plenty! Make sure you give it a shot, and a little tip: no need to play max bets, played 0.20$ and 0.30$ and still made 500$ with 40$. Good music and entertainment, make sure you check any events and venues, Gregory Charles was there right after us.

Must admit I'm not a gambler. Nice to be just next to Manoir Richelieu. Free show at night, plus your regular gambling.

Not to busy and noisy. Lots of natural light. I am not a gambler but it was just across from the hotel.

The grounds are beautiful with flowers and overlooking the St. Lawrence, situated next to the Manoir Richelieu, also a great hotel. Inside the casino you will find the architecture warm and inviting with the charms of Charlevoix. Since July 18, 20013, alcohol is allowed in the play areas, before only at the bars. Access to 18 years and over.

Small, could use some freshening upEasily accessible from Fairmont hotel, some free parking a short distance, great view of the river

Not a very classy casino, people in jeans and short shorts. Staff not very friendly and few blackjack tables, mostly all slots.

This casino, is small but just perfect for a smooth Summer vacation feel, far from the hustle of the big cities, and what an enchanting site, right by the river. Whether you win or lose, here, you'll still enjoy yourself.

We visited this casino on a Sunday night, mid June. It is relatively small, but there are several levels catering to every type of spender. It was not over-crowded but there were plenty of people around. One thing that amazes me about Quebec casinos is that they do not serve alcoholic beverages at the tables/machines. Why not? What would happen if you had a beer while you were playing a slot machine? I am not even talking about FREE drinks, just enjoying a beverage at your table or machine. You have to go to a bar to buy a drink and drink it there - you cannot move around with it! Tea and coffee are provided free by a travelling cart. There were two Let it Ride tables, a $5 and a $10. The tables have an extra area built on, which provides additional space for your chips, and an indented holder for your drink (not alcoholic!) This makes the table not half as crowded as some LIR's, you do not have to be rubbing elbows with the next player. My name was drawn to participate in another draw for cash - the only thing was, I had to come back the following Friday - understandably, that was not going to happen, so I missed out. Wish the draw had been the same day, then I would have had a chance. I do not agree with this policy. Dealers spoke English if they had to, but since it is a Quebec casino, French is the language of choice. We did not eat there, so cannot comment. My partner played slot machines and came out a little ahead - no life changing amounts - but all in all, we like this little casino, have been often and will return if ever in the area again.

Located in La Malbaie on the St Lawrence river and across the driveway from the magnificent Le Manoir Richelieu, sits the Casino de Charlevoix. It is small as casinos go - about 800 slots and a few table games. It closes around midnight and drink servers do not give out alcoholic beverages. It has a bar and entertainment on weekends. This is a perfect little place to spend a few hours away from all the activities that Le Manoir Richelieu and the rest of La Malbaie have to offer. Who knows - you may hit a jackpot!
