A part of the Intercontinental Hotel operation in Papa-ate, the lagoon was lightly used but very enjoyable for fish watching and lap swimming.

The Lagoonarium happens to be about 15 minutes down the road from Manava Resort where we were staying so we wandered down only to discover that it's been long closed. The pens are falling apart and the underwater viewing areas are off limits. Looks like it could have been fun, though. The associated restaurant, the Captain Bligh, is still open though.

The place has a wide varietal of sea animal, is real cool dive spot and lagoon is Very calm..highly reccomend for family.

The family that run this place are a hoot! Very friendly and much comic relief! Our whole day and experience was just fun, and laughs! They also entertained us with their musical abilities, guitar, ukelele, drum,and singing! A delight for the whole family!!!! The lagoon was a calm, safe environment to see and experience sea life. I am an experienced snorkeler and loved it! Where else can you safely swim with sharks? They were docile and beautiful to see!

went to this as part of the 'island tour' which is also a joke. This is the seafood restaurant and i guess they ate all the fish from the lagoonarium as the tanks were pretty empty. Everything was really dated and like i say a joke.

A faire si vous mangez sur place au restaurant.Les vitres de l'aquarium sont sales et rayées.Les poissons sont aussi vieillissants.C'est dommage.L'idée de départ est excellente.Ca mériterait une grande rénovation. Le projet était en cours... No news.

A une dizaine de km de Papeete le restaurant captain blight bénéficie d un aquarium très coolAvant ou après mange descendre dans la bouche du requin et admirer les beauté du lagon raie requin Picasso ...Pour le brun ch. Du dimanche c est idéal

本島のツアーに参加すると、ここの横のレストランでバッフェ・ランチとなるわけだけど、ラグーナリウムと仰々しくアピールしてしまうのは無理がある施設ですね。そうでなくても、素敵な自然の海を見てしまったりしていたら、頭の中？？？だらけになってしまいます。わざわざ車に揺られてこんなに遠くまで訪れるほどの価値はないと思います。

A visiter gratuitement après un petit repas pas trop coûteux au restaurant du Capitaine Bligh. Le cadre à la Polynésienne y est bien, le repas au buffet à volonté bien garnit. Si vous avez la chance d’être au bord du lagon coté fenêtre vous pourrez même donner à manger aux poissons pendant votre repas. La visite du lagoonarium se fait en une minute voir deux. Rien de bien extraordinaire pour des adultes, seule les enfants y éprouveront du plaisir.

A 20' di macchina da Papeete, è un acquario all'aperto.Triste: oltre ai soliti pesci in gabbia (e fuori ne vedete 10 volte di piú allo stato selvaggio), fra l'altro pure pochi, il posto è proprio triste, nel senso che in 5' avete visto tutto.Non andateci.Se avete dei bambini portateli in una delle tante spiagge, vedranno molta piú fauna libera e potranno anche cercare di catturarla (auguri). Non occorre essere nuotatori, bastano 20 cm d'acqua.
