We had walked all of the way round Uluru earlier in the day, so were quite worn out by late afternoon. Thankfully we did not have to do any walking as we had booked a Harley ride around the rock. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish and something that we will always remember. I think that it helped that we had walked around earlier in the day as it helped you remember the different areas that we had already been through and it was such a different experience having the wind in your face whilst zooming round the rock! We stopped at one of the sunset viewing areas where a bottle of bubbly was produced that we drank whilst watch the amazing changing of colours on the rock. A wonderful experience that we will never forget and a tour I highly recommend!

Seeking an alternative to the traditional bus tours around Uluru, my partner and I chose the 50 km 'Uluru Cruise' on a trike with Uluru Motorcycle Tours. It was a wonderful and unique experience.We were picked up from our hotel shortly after 7:30am and the 50 km round trip took about an hour. We stopped for photos at the sunset car park and the base of the rock along the way.We booked though the Tour and Information Centre in the Town Square the day before. Trikes can be booked any time of the day (pay slightly more for sunrise and sunset trips). The same company also offers Harley tours. Helmets and leather jackets are provided.

My partner and I did the Harley tricycle ride during our recent visit. Whilst enjoyable, at $189 it is not cheap. I guess when you have a monopoly you can charge what you like. Anyway, we did enjoy it, and the "driver" was very nice, attentive and friendly. He took the photo attached, and took plenty.As part of the overall Uluru experience, it was worth it. Leather jacket is supplied of course and you get taken to the sunset viewing car park for photos.Recommended, but be aware it's not cheap.

My wife and I stayed three nights at Longitude 131 and decided we needed to do something different...a motorcyle ride around Uluru...AMAZING, AWESOME, FAB, MEMORABLE, FAR OUT! WE loved this the best , the freedom, the wind, the sights, driver gave great commentary and we stopped round the ROCK! These people have the best business, try it , excellent for all ages, we in forties and felt 20 by the time we got off! Keep up the fantastic work, worth every cent plus the tip, would do again in heart beat..Thanks so very much Lyle & Gail Irwin (NZ)

'This is AWESOME" - that was what my eight-year-old yelled constantly as we circled Uluru on the back of one of these trikes. This was the best fun we have had in a long time. If you really want to treat your child, and be voted 'parent of the year' book one of these trike rides - it's worth every cent.

Loved my Harley experience - stunning landscape and what a way to see it! My guide Ryan had excellent local knowledge and knew all the best photo spots. This is an experience I would thoroughly recommend!

Wendy and I donned the leathers yesterday and were taken for the ride of our lives around Ayers Rock and the Olga's by Bruce and Maximus...a sensational experience I can recommend to anyone wanting to soak up the sensations ,the sights, the history, and the culture of our arid red centre.

This is the second time I have done this trip, first having done this back in 2003 with a friend. This time myself and my husband did this trip on a very hot Sunday morning. What a fantastic experience. Nothing like the rumble of Harley Davidson pulling up and you slipping on the back and being whisked off for a ride of about 1hr 30 mins around Uluru. The very hot wind flying over your body and the wildness of the view, just amazing.Brilliant experience!

I had booked the Uluru sunset Harley ride before I had left home and it was the tour I was looking forward to the most. I was not disappointed at all! I had a hottie turn up to take me for the ride and Uluru was stunning. Awesome way to see Uluru and Ryan was full of information. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This has to be the best way to see the rock and the area. Our riders, Alex (man of my wife's dreams, long story!) and Jeff, they made the whole experience great. The tour was well worth it, plenty of opportunities to see points of interest, both excellent riders and capped off with a glass of bubbly watching the sun go down. Awesome. If you have not done so.. book with them now. You will not regret it.

My sister had always wanted to ride on a Harley, she persuaded me to go too. It was great fun, friendly drivers - I felt very safe.
