Have to preface this review with saying we are big Grant Burge fans hailing from Brisbane and very pleased to visit the cellar door during our Adelaide trip. Prompt service and took the time to find out what we liked as well as suggest something different. Enjoyed the Reserve bubbles and Movedre both of which came home with us. Lovely outlook over the vines and they make a good coffee too.

The time and trouble that Grant took to show us around showed how proud he is of his winery. He crafts the most excellent range of wines from a superb rose, a sparkling red, a dry Reisling and his flagship Meshach - breathtakingly good

A good, average cellar door, with friendly, attentive staff. However the room feels cold and sterile, not inviting. And when a large group arrived it was noisy and echoing. The limited wines we tasted were good, but not great.

We didn't have long to stay but didn't we regret it!Fantastic property with lots of room for kids to run.The wine quality is sensational with lots of variety and VERY well priced!!Food available and would love to come back and sample!

Firstly, there are 2 locations, Illaparra in the main street selling port and moscato, and the main winery outside of Tanunda which has the full range and resturant overlooking the vinyard. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of Illaparra and the ports were magnificent (and can be purchased in bulk for a discount, as well as byo container). The moscatos are lovely. The main winery was good, lovely view and the full range of wines. Bit slow to be aknowledged by staff. Old and Worn toilets seperate from the building- was a sign indicating they are about to do a huge renovation.

We enjoyed a lovely platter for Lunch here (included in our wine tour). It wasn't large but filled the spot. The wine is nice and the ladies behind the bar were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and generous on the tastings. Would recommend the visit!

well worth a visit. View spectacular overlooking the valley and beyond to the hills. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Recommend ordering the platter of local foods for 2, a bottle of wine and sit under the shade of the trees in the garden and soak up the atmosphere!

Great wines on offer. Big lawn area right outside cellar door so that kids can run around outside whilst we tasted.
