Enjoyed a day conference at Producers, the welcome and attention to the groups comfort and food needs was excellent. The location for the group was relaxed, the amenities were clean, the catering was exceptional, fresh locally grown and prepared food fare. THANK YOU. Will be back and can highly recommend.

David and Tori, the owners/operators of this establishment, really know what they're doing. The Producers restaurant has it all: inventive menu offering something for everyone, fantastic location, warm and attentive staff and great atmosphere in general. There is seating both indoors and outdoors - the indoor seating provides you with a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards and the outdoor seating is in a lovely courtyard that is built around on three sides, protecting you from the elements.I was fortunate enough to sample the baked brie as a starter, which is truly mouth-watering - beautiful locally-produced brie that has been baked until gooey, accompanied by top-notch sourdough bread for dipping. As a main I had a salad with roast vegetables, haloumi and greens (including my favourite - rocket), drizzled with a gorgeous dressing. I cannot remember the exact ingredients comprising this salad, but they all worked together in a way that was unexpected and delicious. Would definitely recommend. Needless to say, all plates were clean at the end of my visit.Am definitely going to be coming back, and next time I hope to sample a good portion of the wine list!

This perfectly picturesque setting makes it hard to leave. With a small menu offering something for everyone's palate and a wine list encompassing only local drops, you cant get more McLaren Vale if you tried. Surrounded by rolling hills, rows of vines and a warming fire place the 'Producers Table Restaurant' is perfect for that weekend get-away lunch.MUST try the homemade mushroom lasagne and start lunch with a glass of the Producers house made sparkling.Well worth the visit, if even to only drop in to see the amazing views (perhaps with a cheese plate and a sneaky wine of course) Mitolo Cellar door is also situated onsite- great wines!

After the men in the group visited a Brewery (of all things) we had the best lunch ever at Settlement Winery, amazing pizzas and a platter of local produce. Best part was the view from the dining area, the vista of the vineyards and the area was amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Stayed at The Producers in The Studio & loved it. It's nothing to complain about, place is spacious & cosy in a great location. It's minutes drive to the other Vineyards & minutes drive to Main St. The Studio comes with a bar fridge, stocked with fresh eggs, bread, mushrooms, tomatoes, homemade jams & muesli, milk, tea & coffee, enough food for breakfast for your stay. The place has aircon/heater, TV, DVD player & stereo. The bedroom has an electric blanket, heated towel rack & walk in robes. It's really got everything you need for a self contained unit amongst the Vineyard & back garden. Would definitely stay again, fantastic location & very comfortable stay.

We visited producers in the middle of December 2009 for one night. We stayed in the studio suite and had no trouble finding the place following the given directions. The accommodation was lovely, everything was thought of, including food in the fridge for breakfast the next morning. We completed the walk and talk wine tour and we truly learned a lot about wine. The tour consisted of a self guided tour around the vineyard, so sensible shoes are a must, also insect repellent would go down well! My partner and I are true wine amateurs and David gave a great talk following the walk in the lovely courtyard explaining the wine making process and differences between wines, we also tried different wines and I could actually taste the different flavours in the wine which I really didn't think would be possible!Following the talk and tasting we moved in to the glass walled dining room for a meal cooked by Tori, all the ingredients were either produced at Producers or locally sourced and the meal was utterly delicious. The view over the vineyard and the hills of McLaren Vale was spectacular. After dinner we were able to purchase wine to take back home with us which went down really well as christmas presents! The accommodation is within walking distance of the main building but definitely remember to take a torch.I would recommend a trip to Producers to anyone, it was a lovely treat for us and we'd love to go back and take our parents.
