Great place to view and photograph the Tasman bridge and the riverfront area. Short drive from the CBD and very easy to get to and well marked.

Just a short drive from Hobart CBD at the other side of Tasman Bridge. Much better views than Royal Botanic Garden hill top lookout. You could see the Tasman Bridge and Derwent River, Mt. Wellington, and Hobart city. Good stop for taking photos.

This is a pretty easy lookout to get to, but there were some major trees that were threatening to block the view. I was tempted to ask the ute next to me if I could climb onto the back of it.

Worth while views of bridge and Hobart, fairy land view of a night and most interesting of a day. easy drive to lookout.

Rosney Hill Lookout gives you views all over Hobart.The day we went you could not see Mt Wellington for the fog.If you want stunning photos of Hobart this is the place to be.Also it can be quite cool.What a view you have of the Tasman Bridge. Something that looks so beautiful but with an unhappy past.If you walk to the left after looking at the Tasman Bridge you see Bellerive about 15 mins from Hobart. There was a yacht race on when we looked and it was a spectacular sight.
