If you're thinking of touring Tasmania, especially Cradle Mountain, go with Howard. He picked us up in Launceston and although it's a long drive back and forth, there was never a dull moment. Tasmania is quite beautiful, very different from the mainland. Howard is very knowledgeable and fun to be with as he has an excellent sense of humor. Both my wife and I highly recommend him.

I went to cradle mountains and it was beautiful Howard really knows about Tasmania and the history, I was glad that I had the tour with him. I had a good time also in the bay of fire, Howard is a good driver and good guide, makes feel welcome to everyone, even if the people has a limited English. I totally recommend it.

We had a fantastic day with our guide Howard. We were picked up in Burnie after we disembarked our cruise ship. Howard personalised our tour after talking to us and showed us lots of interesting areas. The scenery at Cradle Mountain is spectacular. For an entertaining and informative tour we highly recommend Howard from Cradle Coast Tours.

Port of Burnie has provided free shuttle bus to the central business district and the Information Centre. Cradle Mountain is on the north part of the island and is 1.5 hours drive from Burnie. It is located on the edge of the spectacular lake St. Clair National Park which forms part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The views are spectacular and the atmosphere still and quiet. The jagged contours of Cradle Mountain epitomise the feel of a wild landscape, while ancient rainforest and alphine heath lands, button grass and stands of colourful deciduous beech provide a range of environments to explore. Icy streams cascading out of rugged mountains, stands of ancient pines mirrored in the still waters of glacial lakes and a wealth of wildlife. The area is one of the most popular natural areas in Tasmania. Take a walk by the Dove Lake.Along the way, we also visit the Towns of Ulverstone, Waratah, Wilmot, Forth, Latrobe, Penguin, and Sheffield.Morning tea and lunch included

Thank you Howard for a wonderful day out with my brother Rodney and Christine to Stanley. We had a thoroughly wonderful day out and enjoyed the fish and chips very much - even though Rodney fed half his chips to the seagulls. Loved seeing the rain forest and the "BIG TREE". I can recommend your trips as a great way to see the Tassie sights and sounds.

You have got to do a Cradle Coast Tour before you get any older! They are fantastic! Couples especially are well catered for, guide Howard taking special care of each person, for a really memorable tour of Tasmania. we went recently to the fabulous Tamar region, for a food and wine tasting sensation. Loved every minute of it! you can even choose between a comfortable mini van, or a luxurious Jaguar. go for it

Our Royal Caribbean Cruise stopped at Burnie. We wanted to visit cradle mountain but the tours available from the cruise line seemed expensive for the six of us, so we decided to do our own thing. At the visitor's centre in Burnie we met Howard of Cradle Coast Tours http://www.cradlecoasttours.com.au/about.htmlHe provided an excellent tour of the Burnie area ending up at the stunning cradle mountain. He also went above and beyond the call of duty in returning my husband's back pack (which we left in Howard's mini bus). We did not have time to get it before our ship sailed. As Howard expected to be in the south of the island the next day he took our bag to the Hobart visitor centre for us to pick up when our ship docked there. Great tour - excellent value for money.
