God Memorial. Lots of parking. Loved reading about the memorial and all the plaques. Toilets are available. Average view due to so many trees. But several tables and chairs to sit at for a picnic

The war memorial was interesting especially as to how it came to be but with a view of the city it made it just that little bit different and well worth the trip up there.

We drove up here at night and had a look at the city lights from there - quite pretty, and only took 10 minutes for something quick to do.

great place to view albury from you can get to it by car or walk if you are up to long and steep climb

This is a nice but not groundbreaking memorial. The views of the river and town from the hill are nice. It's worth a visit if you've got time, and it's free.

This monument has a very interesting style, one I hadn't seen before. I was pleased to visit the monument and as always disturbed to see how very young were so many of Albury's war dead. The decision to add a light to the monument's flame could have gone horribly wrong but it is a sweet and appropriate addition in this case.

A war memorial isn't something that needs an hour to be admired, if your in Albury and have the time, take the ten minutes to get up to the memorial and spend ten minutes walking around to read the plaques and admire the nice piece of architecture in a more remote part of Australia.

This is a lovely spot to get Albury into perspective. It is also a wonderful memorial for appreciating everything our Anzacs and current serving Defence folk have done. My advice though is drive and not walk or run!,

It does exactly what it says on the box--it's a war memorial in the form of a monument, on a hill. Nothing more, nothing less. If you like walking up hills and you like fairly rudimentary monuments, you'll go nuts. Otherwise, just view it from the ground.

Watching athletes trying to jog up the incredibly steep path to the memorial brought back memories of long ago when my basketball team was made to do the same! As an old resident of Albury, it was lovely to stand and look at the city and recognise many of the iconic buildings there. I've been to the Memorial during services, and it is a lovely place. Great views, and a beautifully preserved memorial to our past and present servicemen and women.

An excellent way to view Albury and its Surrounds. Plenty of grass space for a quiet picnic. Don't forget to pay your respects at the memorial itself.

This is a great spot to view the surrounding countryside but it is also a great destination for a walk from the city. We continued down the other side and then along the river back to town.

OK view, as mentioned, the trees need a trim, silly things get in the way. Should be a nice place for a BBQ

Beautiful view of the city, especially if you go up during the evening where you can see Dean Street all lit up. My boyfriend and I spent ages reading all of the little plaques placed on the edges of the garden bed, each with the name of a fallen soldier, their rank and also their date of birth and death. Also great for exercise as it is located on a steep hill. The small lookout to the side had some lovely scenery as well.

Awesome view overlooking Dean Street Albury and beyond. The Memorial looks impressive and I love to take my autistic daughter for a walk down the steep hill when she is naughty. Great exercise for both of us...
