Thank you for your review,It is nice to hear that you found our cottages clean & comfortable, my mum is obsessed with cleanness :) We like to keep things tidy as I think it is nice to visit when things look neat & tidy.Our animals are always a hit, mind you they are probably all to fat & spoilt but they love it!We like the fact that our activities are great for young guests and grandparents to be able to participate together, makes for a good family holiday.Thanks again for visiting.Pauline

Hello and thank you for your review,It is nice to see that your son enjoyed his horse ride, we like to try to get kids to appreciate the horses and other animals, I bet he would even like to ride again sometime:)The quad bikes are always a hit with both adults and kids, I think the kids like the freedom of being able to ride on their own!The dogs/goat/sheep are funny and get into trouble a lot as they like to HELP?? mix up all the horse feeds, the entertainment value is worth it though:)Thank you for staying and I hope we will see you again.Pauline.

Hello and thank you for your review,We are happy to see that your kids felt comfortable on their horse ride, the horses are pretty amazing to be able to adapt to different riders all the time, we treat them as staff members as we couldn't operate without their co operation:)It is nice to have small groups, this way we can offer different options while on our rides.Even we never tire of the views the adult quad bike ride offers, our guest are amazed at how far you can see from the top.We do hope to see you all again sometime.Thank you

Hello and thank you for your review,Lisa and are happy to see that you really enjoyed your day with us:)I guess we must admit that our horses are a tiny bit spoiled but its all good because the rest of the animals are too, as you will agree Daisy is just the same as a horse, she will let you sit or lie on her anytime for a photo, she likes the attention. It is a lot easier to convince horses to take out beginner riders when they are happy and treated like part of the family, we couldn't operate without their help. Thank you for your review,You were a great help to us during your stay, you arrived with no horse experience and in a few days you were putting halters on my horses confidently, bringing them into the stable, taking their rugs off and brushing them!! Pretty amazing. I think you are an animal person too:)You and your brother are lovely well mannered kids and are a pleasure to have stay with us.We hope to see your family again soon, also a big thank you to your mum and dad for their help putting the quads away etc.Pauline.

Thank you for your review.I am really glad you kids enjoyed their experience on our farm. I feel it is really important to teach kids how to act around the horses & other farm animals, it allows for a safer more enjoyable experience for the kids and the animals.Its just great for the kids to have so much open space to play, our goats (Mini & Ellie) are always a hit with our guests, they are always getting up to mischief :) We now have Sam the lamb too and he also thinks he is a dog or a goat or something other than a sheep!We would love to see your family again sometime.Thank you.Pauline.

Thank you for your review.Violet is a character for sure:) Her and her little sister Hadley ( three years old) will happily lead our Clydesdales around and sit up on their back, can even go into the paddock and put halters on the horses and bring them into the stable, infact they are planning to take over their mums job as my right hand:)I am so glad you found your visit enjoyable. Thank you for your review.I am so glad you can understand our concern for guests safety.This is something we are very careful with, especially when we have children on the ride.It is nice for parents to be able to enjoy the ride and take in the scenery without having to be concerned for their kids well being:)Our horses only do a maximum of two rides each day with a two hour break to have a drink, feed or a roll in the dust:) At the end of the day they are horses and do need down time, just like the rest of the staff. This is why they are well mannered and happy to go on rides.Pauline.

Thank you for your review,It was such a hot day, Oberon is definitely not used to this heat and that is why we only do early morning rides when it is so hot as the horses are indeed lazy and not to keen on trotting in these conditions. Thank you for your kind words about the horses and your guide. The drought is very tough on the people and the animals on the land, unfortunately we can not give you views of green rolling hill all the time but we have now had rain so we can only hope:)I just wanted to make it clear to future visitors that we have been lucky to not have had any bush fires in our area.we will look forward to your future visit, maybe we can take you for a ride in the snow!Pauline.
