We visited Ebor falls recently after it had rained and the falls were spectacular. I took an interstate visitor to show off this scenic drive as well. On the Grafton side the road is windy with a lush rainforest.

The highlight of our road trip and picnic. If you want there is a 1km walk between the higher and the lower falls. If not it is a short drive and minimal walk. Both levels have toilets and picnic areas.Nearby places to eat in Ebor are the Hillside fuel station and a tea room called Fusspots.

What a lovely surprise on the waterfall way to find such easily accessible falls. Both upper and lower falls were on a track suitable for anyone to access and less than five minutes from the car parks. There's also a path between the platforms if you want to stretch your legs.

For some this is a destination, for others it's something to see while passing through either to the coast or to New England. The site is level, a big attraction for most tourists, and has three lookouts. It has to be known here that there are two major falls, the Upper and Lower, and even these are split. So, from the lookouts you can clearly see the upper falls and get a view of the lower falls. There are also toilets and facilities for picnics. However, if you're a dedicated bushwalker/cameraman/mountain climber, you might like to descend to the river below the falls. Here you get the best views of all but, be warned, there is no trail and it is NOT for the unfit.I've been down twice and found it very rewarding but, even from the lookouts, people have fallen and died. So, be careful whatever you do.I hope you enjoy the pics.

A magnificent waterfall with remarkable views across the cascades as the water rapidly depends down the Guy Fawkes River. Easily accessed from Waterfall Way, with amenities on offer and an unchallenging walk to several lookout points. Recommended.
