Even though the steak was over cooked to our liking, the meal was enjoyable and tasty .. The seafood crepe was delicious .. Very family friendly atmosphere ..

Visited this hotel as part of a Christmas get together, so I do appreciate it might have been busier than normal however the 40 minute wait for my meal was a bit long.I ordered the fish and my friends a Medium rare steak. My fish was cooked reasonably well however it was devoid of flavour and friends steaks were well done. This pub is known for its bistro and on past efforts i always considered it good however it just seems the chef might different or under pressure.It appears to hit it's target market well with a good range on the menu. On this occasion however I could not give this bistro good marks unlike a lot of other reviews.

The service here is always fantastic. The food is wonderful - great steaks, great Schnitzel, great specials during the week. Their prices are reasonable and the serving sizes generous.its pub food but pub food that has been elevated to great dining. The best pub in Goulburn for food!

Driving from Sydney to Canberra and decided to stop off in Goulburn for a quick bite. The hibernian was warm and inviting huge menu with great lunch specials. I ordered my partner and I ordered the waiter was very friendly and approachable. About 10 mins later our buzzer went off and our meals were ready I was shocked! I ordered the Chicken Kiev with prawns and my partner had the Crumbed Steak the meals were HUGE!! And tasted very fresh. The only bad thing about this whole thing is that this place is not closer to home for us or we would be locals. Would definitely recommend this place its great.

Very busy for a Monday night which caused the kitchen to run out of basic vegetables. This should not occur in saying that the food was okay. I noticed that the meals were not consistent in size and presentation. Would return though I would try and go on a quite night.

Popped in for lunch on our way back to Canberra and weren't disappointed. Good food, atmosphere, service and price. I had beer battered flathead with salad and the best beer battered chips I've ever eaten He had a steak burger which was massive and the price for both under $30.00 - bargain. There were a lot of happy customers, two girls came in just for dessert. Certainly recommend to friends.
