Arrived at lunchtime on Boxing Day, place seemed pretty shambolic. Women with the apron on seemed nice enough but was single handedly running the cafe, selling cherries and wine tasting. Definitely not enough help. Seemed quite unprofessional although admitted was only helping out as a favour, didn't seem too interested in selling the wines/discussing them. The place should have been great, quirky surroundings and lots going on but I wouldn't go back. we had gone there as my friend recommended it but I was disappointed. Cherries were delicious but lady admitted only out fridge.

My worst fruit picking experience. There was a one arrogant person treat us very badly. He ruined our day. There is very little cherries available here and the trees are not healthy as you would expect. Cherries taste sour. Stay out of this place for pick your own cherries.1007 Foest road, Springside is a better place, but they will open for a limited time close to Christmas.

We stumbled upon Cargo Road and it was such a pleasant surprise. It's quirky and a little disheveled but friendly and down to earth. We enjoyed a bowl of pasta and glass of wine on the picturesque balcony - they couldn't have been more accommodating. And the wines were delicious - particularly the Zinfandel which was a stand out.
