I would highly recommend a trip to this area. it cost around £5 but what lovely beachs and views in around the area. Jervis Bay itself it beautiful with stunning scenery especially when the tide goes out and the adjacent lagoon tide goes out. I couldn't do it justice in photos, you'll just have to go there yourself!

Huge open bay with vast lengths of white sand. We launched the boat at the excellent boat ramp and jetty off Watt St Callala Bay on the North West of Jervis Bay and tracked around the shores of the Bay to the stretches of Long Beach on the Eastern shore... all to ourselves.. After swimming in the turquoise water we continued around to the towering Point Perpendicular..We had a very calm day... missed seeing resident dolphins.. across the opening to the sea to Murrays Beach - backing onto National Park at the entrance to the bay... then to the whitest sand in the world where the beach squeaks at Hyams Beach.. Up to the narrow creek inlet to Huskisson - lots of boats lining the channel... be careful of the rocks at the entrance... In November we had almost the whole huge bay to ourselves... Nature at its best...

You pay $11 to enter the national park but it's worth it for a selection of the most beautiful white beaches and clear blue waters. There wasn't that many people on Murray beach, there wasn't a campsite at this beach which may have had a impact. But there are many beach options and plenty of small campsites

We love the Jervis Bay area, particularly this national park. There are a number of sections to it, and the best thing to do is visit the NSW Parks website and have a look at what there is to do. beaches like Hyams, Green Patch and Murrays are fantastic and there are a number of areas where you can camp or just have a picnic. Waters are crystal clear. There are plenty of bush walks, with much birdife, especially on the walk behind Hyams beach.

What an amazingly beautiful part of the world. We spent 4 days down at Jervis Bay exploring the area and spent two gorgeous days lazing on the beach at Murray's Beach and Green Patch Beach. The sun was out and warm, the water was beautifully clean, clear and turquoise and perfect temp for swimming. We took our picnic and our sun shelter as well as a good book, camera and sunscreen. Swam, read and relaxed in the most beautiful surroundings.

What a beautiful location! I particularly liked Murrays beach. This is one of the more impressive seaside areas I have visited with beautiful views of the bay and also the nearby mountains. Keep your eye out for wildlife, plenty to see if you have got a keen eye.

We didn't realise, but a car ticket in to the park lasts 48 hours! And you totally need it. The old lighthouse gives good views and Cave Beach is definitely worth visiting. The botanic gardens were nice for. Walk but we didn't have enough time to really enjoy it. If you are there for a weekend, go in early to maximise your time and you can just head in and out whenever you like.

Jervis Bay is a wonderful place with virtually everything you could want in a national park: stunning white-sand beaches, safe swimming, superb views across a deep and wide bay, forests, excellent bushwalks and lots of wildlife, including dolphins close to shore and wallabies on shore, plus birds galore. Recommend the White Sands walk.

Jervis bay was one of the best places we stayed during a recent stay in Sydney! It is well worth the 3hr drive to get out of the city.We only had one day to spend here so we did a bit of research on the best beach for snorkelling, as this is one of our favourite hobbies, and decided on Murry's beach. It is located right at the end of Booderee national park. It is a stunning, secluded beach with white sands and crystal clear warm and calm waters. Perfect for snorkelling! There were only a couple of locals there and felt like we had the place to ourselves.Ospreys circled overhead all day and we even ha a wallaby join us for lunch! Great variety of fish and even saw a few sting rays. We didn't see any dolphins but they have a resident pods that frequents the bay.Fantastic day!
