What a little gem in the middle of Taree. From the Apex lookout which is high up on a bend above the Manning River you can look both up and down stream. The view is stunning overlooking the rich farming land and the hillsides in the background.There is parking off street and a nice picnic table. A great spot for a picnic lunch.

Visitors are always amazed that such a stunning view is hidden just minutes from town. The view takes in the gorgeous, sweeping Manning River, rolling green farmland reminiscent of English scenery all with a backdrop of mountain ranges. Grab a take away, or use the wood burning bbqs, and enjoy a peaceful meal in one of the shelters as you experience an unforgettable sunset.
