A lovely museum which has been renovated in the last couple of years. The displays of early times in the local area are outstanding giving you an insight to the fishing, oyster industry and early way of life in the Tuncurry Forster area. It has wonderful photos of the locals of early times. Family names which still live on today. There are war memorabilia and an original school house and the Tuncurry Gaol House which have been brought in as displays. At $4 an adult entry it is well worth the visit.

A very authentic museum run by volunteers who love the local area and love history. Old buildings have been moved on site to increase the feeling of stepping back in time. The display is constantly being changed and improved. Book in to enjoy the barbecue facilities.
