It's easy to imagine riverboats offloading at the wharf, unfortunately there's not a lot left. Half the wharf is fenced off at the moment, presumably for repairs. Would be a lot better with some signage to explain the history of the wharf etc. Short visit only.

There is not much left of the historic wharf, but the location by the Manning River provides an excellent picnic spot, with good parking and picnic facilities and access to the excellent Wingham Brush Reserve.

The backdrop is the Wingham brush..a peaceful spot to sit and think about the old days when boats came up river collecting produce such as cream etc. very peaceful with undercover area adjacent and gas bar b ques.
