Quiet. Gentle breeze.Lovely countryside. Would be great for bush walks. Plenty of shelter. BBQ Area available.

wonderful scenic spot. Amazing views. Great picnic area but more toilet facilities & signage would be good

Gorgeous view of Tamworth and surrounds. Unfortunately we were there in Magpie season, so in one section we were swooped. Good covered tables for picnics

Had a lovely time at the lookout the views are fantastic, there is a walking track to the lookout for those who are interested

the road to the top is a bit twisty which is a bit scary when a car comes the other way, but when you get there it is nice.

Hairpin bend driving led to a super peaceful spot with plenty to read about the history of Tamworth.Beautifully kept and well worth a visit.

Not only a wonderful view of Tamworth and Big Sky country but worth a visit to learn about some of the local history. The Lookout itself has a fascinating story. It's easily accessible and has plenty of space for parking and picnics.

I feel the view from the Oxley Park Lookout, has been over exaggerated. There are scenic views, with partial aspects the town, but to call it spectacular?I'm sorry, it does not compare with most sights throughout Australia.Don't get me wrong, we love the walk from the Nature Park, among several others, to get here, but the views are nothing special.

Loved the tidy clean park at this look out with plenty of clean tables to sit and have you dinner Tamworth Council takes pride in this park

A great way to take in all of Tamworth with history boards to gain a bit of local knowledge. A must do when staying or passing through Tamworth.

Finally found the lookout although was not well signed from the direction we were travelling. It is off the top end of White Street and if you head in the direction of the hills with the radio towers you are heading roughly in the right direction.Once you get there nice views of town.

This little spot was a lovely surprise and provides wonderful views of the Tamworth locale. Lots of picnic spots to enjoy and a couple of Good Samaritans were busy collecting rubbish from the area as we visited.

Vast area at the top of this hill. Glorious views out over Tamworth, far and wide. Fantastic display of Jacarandas too.

This is a must spot for you to introduce your friends and visitors to Tamworth. From the lookout you can see al the major attractions of Tamworth prior to taking your visitors around the city. The lookout is well signposted and easy to find, there are pleasant gardens and seating areas around the lookout where you can stay and while away the hours with a picnic lunch and the area around the lookout has been beautified by the Rotary Club of Tamworth Sunrise. You can see well to the west of the city from the lookout. There are good toilet facilities available but make sure you take water or a drink with yours there are no shops or cafes in the vicinity.
