We first used this service 12 months ago and we keen to take another tour with Peter. Peter is an amiable and helpful host who will take you wherever you want to go and will suggest some really great cellar doors to visit. If you don't like the "bus trip" wine tour, and would rather have a tour with your partner or a few friends, this is the perfect answer. I would recommend combining your tour with a stay at Azjure for the full luxury experience. We will back again next year. Thanks Peter.

My 83 year old mother and I had an amazing day on this wine tour. Peter was very attentive and went out of his way to make this a most memorable experience. We shared a beautiful bottle of Shiraz at lunch with two other gentlemen on the tour. - when we went to pay for it Peter had already done it which was a very generous gesture. Peter did not rush as at any of the wineries and the pace was perfect. At the end of our tour Peter gave us a beautiful bottle of champagne and some cheese and biscuits which we enjoyed after a very long but fantastic day .. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Stanthorpe

I have been on many wine tours across all of Australia.This was easily the best I have ever been on.Pete picked us up at our accommodation and we did all the usual things you do on a wine tour.The difference was Pete himself. He is an owner operator driving us around in an extremely luxurious Landrover.Pete's personal touch, easy manner and relaxed approach made the difference.He even took us to a place on a property where he shared a bottle of sparkling wine and some cheese as we enjoyed the view. He had to go to 4WD to get us there. It was amazing.At one of the wineries I decided to have a 'impi slushie' when I went to pay for it I discovered that Pete had already paid for it for me.At each venue we visited it was obvious that Pete was well regarded and well liked.If you want an amazing experience Pete is the man.Thank you Pete. We will be back!!!!!!

6 of us had a wonderful day with our new friend, Peter, in his immaculate vehicle. We visited a diverse number of attractions including wineries, a soaperie, a juice factory, a brewery and a dairy. Nothing was too much trouble and Peter tailored the tour to our interests. We had a most delicious morning tea and lunch at a wonderful leisurely pace. We would certainly come again. My husband and I had booked a private tour with Pete from Wine Discovery Tours and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! He picked us up from our accommodation in Thulimba and from there we went to Suttons Juice, a cheese factory, several wineries (that included a extensive tastings), the bramble patch, an olive farm and a included 2 course lunch at "The Barrel Room" which was the best meal that we had on our holiday! The vehicle was a comfortable, smooth luxurious 4wd, and Pete was very knowledgable and such a gentleman. Incredible value!Thank you again!!!!

My Fiance and I had a an amazing day out with Pete touring around the various cellar doors, a cider and dairy factory as well as the Wine College for lunch. Pete was very knowledgable and engaging and kept the tour really interesting. He catered the tour to us and our interests and had no hesitation about extending the end of the tour when we started enjoying the Muscat and Tawny a little too much at the last cellar door. Overall an absolutely awesome day - couldn't recommend Wine Discovery Tours enough and already looking forward to our next trip back there with friends. Cheers Pete. Andrew and Katie

We have been on many wine tours around Australia. From bus tours to limousine tours we have never had such an enjoyable time. The six of us were treating like VIP's from the start to the finish. Peter listened to what type of wines we liked and nailed our taste at every vineyard we visited. He introduced us to a great restaurant, Varias at the QCWT. We would recommend Peter if you want top service at a reasonable price by a professional. Thanks Peter you will see us again.

Pete our tour guide was fantasic. He was knowledgable about the region and the various vineyards. We went to some fantasic cellar doors during the day and meet the winemarkers. Had a fantasic lunch and sampled wonderful cheeses. At the end of a full day Pete added a fantasic touch of champers and cheese in the vineyard.Fantasic day with a person with a personal touch.

This tour is a must do when staying in Stanthorpe. Peter offers small, personalised winery and cheesery tours. You will be taken to the smaller wineries which means you will be able to talk to the actual growers and wine makers. There is no hopping on and off tour buses and queuing up to try some wine. It is a relaxed pace and you will have plenty of time to savour the experience. Apart from the wineries, it is also a great way to see some of the area. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Stanthorpe.

Peter picked us up right on time. He has a beautiful land rover which is a great ride. He is very professional and has good knowledge of the area. We went to a few wineries before going to the collage for lunch. This was a little bit disappointing as we sat there for a while before our meals arrived. (Not Peters fault). After lunch continued to some other wineries and then a quick beer at the tavern, our request. We finished off having champagne and cheese in the vines, with the sun going down. A really great way to get around and sample the wines. Highly recommend this.
