My husband, daughter and I loved this it was very informative got to see many crocs in there environment and the guide was so exciting and knowledgable on the crocodiles got to hold one Would highly recommend to people so they understand this animal Went when I was a child and wanted my family to experience the only thing different was when I was young we got to see an egg hatch but it was the wrong time for this in February 2015. Loved it.

The tour around the farm, including feeding the crocodiles, was informative and nice.Friendly tour guide, with an honest story about breading the crocodiles. It's a farm, not a zoo. So they bread the crocodiles for their meat and leather/skin. And they have a lot of them, over 3000!Large and smaller once. We enjoyed the tour.

Tried to go into gift shop as did not have time for tour to purchase their product (with the intent of buying a fair bit after seeing there online shop)and was told Must pay admission price to see the gift shop, bad customer service and loss of product being sold!every other zoo, attraction etc is more than happy to let you into the gift shop and buy their product without paying a fee.will not recommend to anyone due to poor customer service.

Could not look in or purchase from the gift shop without paying admission. Silly considering we would have spent $$$, looked run down, cairns 100% better

It's not cheap, but it's worth when you never visited such a farm before! You get impressions of the wild life and how this specialized farm works. And at the end of the tour you can taste the meat in the farm owned restaurant!

Even though we already knew quite a bunch of things about crocs, the visit was stil fun and our guide was entertaining. The visit was a bit short but nonetheless interesting. At the end, there is the possibility to hold a baby croc. We also ate some good tasting croc burgers.

The tour is a bit pricey for the amount of time spent there, but it's interesting and informative. John is an entertaining storyteller and, having a lot of experience with crocodiles from his time in New Guinea to the present, he's a great guide through the farm. Probably the best way to see estuarine crocs without running afoul of one in the wild. After an introductory talk in the restaurant / reception area, where there are many displays of crocodile photos and taxidermy, you go outside to observe them in their pens, learn about fresh and salt water crocodiles, their nesting behavior, the history and business of the farm, catching crocodiles, the breeding program, etc. and finish up with holding a baby crocodile and pose for photos. At the conclusion of the tour, you can lunch on one of the many crocodile menu items; the grilled crocodile kebabs were quite tasty.

Had a great morning, learnt a lot about crocs and their behaviour. Well worth a visit if you have not been to a croc farm before. Got to hold a baby croc for a photo which was included in the entry fee. Owner/guide was very entertaining.

If you are unfamiliar with crocs (cold blooded variety), the farm is worth a visit. Although spendie at $28 per adult, the information provided/delivered was informative and interesting. Lunch required the staff to scramble resulting in a 40 minute wait for a plate of crocodile kebabs but they were tasty.

Very good morning out at the croc farm. Guide was not only very informative, but was excellent with children which is not always the case at these places. Would highly recommend if you haven't been to similar.

Whilst visiting Gladstone we thought we would have a look at Koorana Crocodile Farm. When we arrived and paid for out tickets we were not that impressed or excited. However once we commenced on the tour we were pleasantly surprised. The tour guides are very knowledgeable, amusing and humorous. We were surprisingly well educated about crocodiles and crocodile farming and in addition we were versed in safety when in Crocodile territory.

Our next trip is to the crocodile farm ,which was overpriced ,had a boat ride watching crocs ,saw them jumping for thier food ,listen to a very interesting talk on the habits of crocs ,but after all the talk of conservation and the saving of the Australia croc,i was very surprised to find they are farming them for thier skins to make handbags ,belts ,shoes ,which were allon sale in thier shop .Port Dlouglas we were only there for two hours ,we managed tohave lunch at a super beautique hotel on the sea fnont, with a swimming pool at the rear ,we had a super lunch very reasonable priced ,great service, super long beach ,so up market shops ,wish we had more time there ,would definitely like to return for another visit.

We visited Koorana Crocodile farm a week ago. It was quite dear to get in. Well worth the money The crocs were in a natural surrounding, a huge lake which was fenced of course. Also there were crocs inside enclosures. John Lever the owner was very interesting. He has also written a book which I am half way through which is very good. I would recommend going there . We also got to hold a baby freshy, and bought a crocodile pie..

Straight to the point. Its overpriced. Cost my family $82 to enter the park and $62.50 for lunch. The shop isnt that great. However the tour was very informative and I did enjoy it. One thing that could of improved the tour is if they took us inside where the little crocs are. If you have not been to a croc farm its worth checking out. I wont be going back though.
