We went up Sunday afternoon to find out the air show was cancelled due to the cyclone. But we were able to have a quick look while we were there. The lady at the counter was extremely informative and the show is now on 18 and 19 April 2015. We have lived in Brisbane all our life never knew this existed. We will be going to the air show sounds like a great weekend. We only found out about this little gem from The Courier Mail what's on.

I've been twice -on my own and with kids, and it's great both ways. There is plenty for the kids to see and touch, and you can get right up close, and if you're on your own as an adult without a technical mind you can really get interested in the restoration hangar. Great bunch of volunteers who are friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, or even driving past to Roam or Dalby, take the time for a visit.

The museum is housed in a very modern building with a well presented range of aircraft. You can get up close to every display. Really enjoyed my visit. I must go again.

The display is about the history of Australia Army Flying. I can verify that the aircraft are apart of their history as I had the pleasure of maintaining them and help build the Sioux Helicopter A1-720 which also served in South Vietnam with me. Does that make me a museum peace too?
