Enjoyed the tour, short video about glow worms and then the cave is really beautiful. Our guide was great and it wasn't too long a tour for our young son (who was a bit scared in the dark). Enjoyed it and thought it was decent value for money. Couldn't see most of the frogs in the adjoining frog hollow though, that could be a bit better done.

Awesome different day out learned alot of new stuff and new words, my favourite been bioluminescence which is what the glow worms do to glow.. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny even if his jokes were bad, Think his name was henry or harry, but he looked more like Ned Kelly with his impressive beard.. Defiantly worth a visit :) Depending on how busy it is, you may have to wait for your guided tour slot but it goes pretty quickly and there's some lovely gardens to look at while you wait

If you visit the mountain you must visit here!! I took my fiance- who was not particularly looking forward to it- but came out raving. They have really created something special here, and they teach you a lot about the humble glow worm. It is a very special place - kids would LOVE it too!

Excellent informative guide told us all about glow worms. The caves were simple to access. Worthwhile visit.

Unfortunate you feel that way. Our glow worm tours are $11 per adult as they are fully guided tours & you are guaranteed to see thousands of glowing glow worms in our 35 metre glow worm alley.

4 of us came here (age 25-30) and loved it! The tour guide was super friendly and answered any questions we had. The glow worm cave was . . . Wow!! So pretty!! I've seen the glow worms in NZ before and don't remember them being as good as here! Would highly recommend a visit here to anyone :-)

All brochures & other advertising matter state the cave is man-made/purpose built. Dr. Claire Baker is the worlds leading authority on glow worms & she established the glow worm colony & continues to be our consultant.

The small creatures are interesting and the staff are very friendly. I was a little disappointed because the visit is too short.

Despite some neg reviews of time/cost, where else can you see the wonders of nature! Very safe even pathways, stairs, just eyes need to adjust to low lighting. Wearing sandals OK. Mesmerized by lighting effect of nature! Very calming effect of hearing drops of water in pure silence. Almost dream like! Nice overall clean modern facilities. Excellent cranberry chicken lunch with strawberry cheesecake & apple. And AM assorted fruit for 2hr trip by Great Sight tour.

This was a very pleasant excursion. The prices were very reasonable. The cave is manmade and the glow worms fed by the staff. The guide showed us a video to start with. Then we went in the pitch black cave to look at the glow worms. He showed each of us, by using a red light that doesn't affect the glow worms, a glow worm up close. He explained in detail about how glow worms live and the life cycle etc. The walk through the cave was short but there were lots of glow worms to look at.

If you wondering what is glow worms look it up on you tube that might help. Very expensive. It is under 30 minutes trip. It is man made caves. Nothing natural. I wasted my 5 hours just for this 30 minutes tour. At the end i was like " that's all ? " was disappointed

We had a great mid week visit. We had Robert as our guide and a small group of 10. It was interesting, educational and something different, which our kids (10 and 8) enjoyed. We also paid extra($4 adult, $2 kids) to visit frogs enclosure, which is a room with a number of tanks with different frogs. The kids enjoyed trying to find all the frogs in each tank.We also tasted a few wines, as the place is a winery as well.

It was wonderful to learn about these creatures. However, the tour is much too short and it is not worth the price for a 10 minute tour. Pls extend the caves for future attraction.

Very interesting tour through the man made cave to see the glow worms. Knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide, friendly staff. Not expensive compared to other Gold Coast attractions. Attached restaurant also very good. Not much to see in the frogs section but again not expensive. Definitely worth a look if you are in Tamborine Mountain. Not for young or unruly children or claustrophobics as it is a very dark enclosed space with a scientific based talk.

Tour took about a half hour and to be honest after 5 minutes in the cave I had enough. Not a lot to see but the guide did give us a lot of info and I suppose something different to do on our holiday and my 8 year old son enjoyed it.
