woodstock trail rides

My boyfriend took me here for a surprised birthday gift and it was amazing! The owners/handlers are friendly and talkative. The horses were well behaved and rode well. The home made damper and billy tea at the end was the icing on the cake! Will Defiantly be going back again soon for a longer ride!

As a family of five from NZ, an Australian station horse ride has always been on our list of must do's. Fran and Peter were wonderful hosts and the horses had a gentle and easy nature. It made our girls feel at ease and they all enjoyed trotting out. The 9000 acre farm scenery was absolutely beautiful and it was evident how much Fran and Peter enjoy living and working on their property.We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience, including Mum who had a smile all day. The damper and billy tea was a perfect and delicious touch to end this fun day. Thank you again...we hope to be back one day for a muster.

We have only positive things to say about this place!! 5+ stars. We contacted Woodstock at the last minute and they were friendly and super accommodating. I ride, but my husband doesn't. The horses were safe for both of us, the setting was gorgeous, and the guides were knowledgeable and helpful. It's on a working ranch, so we got to see and hear how cattle really are raised in that part of the outback. It was relaxed and interesting and felt as authentic as a trail ride experience can be. We got double our money's worth in entertainment and an "outback" experience. I would recommend this ranch to anyone wanting a trail ride, wanting to try out one of their longer stay options. I only wish we had the time to stay longer...
