Good place to wander round and find out the history of the area. Staff were courteous and helpful. Great photos upstairs and worth a visit just to see these. Has a wide range of useful information for the visitor.

Helpful staff / maps provided with advice. Postcards / gifts / soft toys etc for sale. Parking plentiful near visitors centre and across the road for caravans / bigger rigs. A small museum next door.....entry - donation.

Excellent located visitors information right at the entry towards Lakes Entrance if you're coming from Bairnsdale. The place offers free wi-fi and toilet facilities besides friendly and knowledgeable staffs plus relevant and helpful information available throughout the centre. For example, brochures, maps and guide books. There are also sourveniors or simple food available in the centre.A recommended first place to visit if you're visiting Lakes Entrance for the first time!

helpful but not as much as I would have liked it to be. They did suggest a few things but not s very practical approach.

Thanks for a great facility and we booked our tours here. The staff were great. Separate point though, we were unimpressed seafood in a fishing town is more expensive than Melbourne. Moreso when you can see the boats and seafood coop across the road and roundabout. This turned us off and we felt we were being ripped off. Same for Steak prices, to charge on average over $30 pers steak meal then dig out $2-3 for a sauce did not rapt us. My advice to travellers, buy your food from Woolies and BBQ your own.

I remember I visited Lake Entrance in the year of 2009 sometimes. We went to the information center to gather some information for tourist. We received information & staff were really well present and helpful. They provided us food, fishing & shopping information with browsers and was really helpful

We attended the info centre when we arrived in Lakes Entrance to find our Caravan Park and find out what there was to do here. We receive plenty of paperwork on variable day tours, markets, fishing licences and shopping. Everything you need to know they have information. Great!

Great source of local information, wifi & well informed locals. May need some input from a local more in touch with the interests of 25 to 40 y.o for more energetic interests.
