highly disappointing visit here. Limited wine tastings...only 5 as compared to10 at the other wineries in the region. Also the most rushed at 30 mins and the most expensive. It wasn't worth our time to visit as the hosts were abrupt and did not make our party feel welcome.

The first problem we encountered was trying to find the place; there are few signs and those that are there are sometimes hard to see. Travelling on gravel roads was unexpected and we thought we were headed somewhere into the bush when we spotted the estate.Once inside, the staff (the owners perhaps) were almost brusque with our party. We were surprised with how limited the menu options were: pretty much just pizza. When we asked if one pizza could not have capsicum on half of it, we were flatly told no: the till didn't work that way. In an automated CBD establishment we could understand this but how hard would it have been to walk three paces to the window - where the outdoor oven cooked the pizzas - and say "no capsicum on half of this order, please"? We accepted the inevitable.Once our food arrived, we were generally happy with it.I can't say we were made to feel welcome and it is a distance to drive for an average pizza.

A very relaxing and pituresque winery with delicious meals and a great ambience. We travelled as a group and had pizza's & gnocci for lunch and were very happy with the food and the service here.the hosts are super friendly and informative and will take you through a tasting while you are waiting for your meals (then you can order which wine you like the best with your meal)!

We enjoyed a spot on the verandah overlooking the valley and lake. The vista is perfect, kangaroo mobs jumping past, the sparkling wine light and fresh and the food excellent. The hosts were helpful and friendly and joined us for a glass during the afternoon. Thanks for a perfect day.

The outdoor patio was relaxing and sun-drenched when we visited last weekend.Sitting outside overlooking the vineyard we ate the baked Camembert in red wine and drank the Pinot Noir. The spot was hard to find - our GPS got us lost but a phone call sorted it out.

Hosts are very friendly and knowledgable about their wine. They even shared a few entertaining stories during our 2 hour visit. Tasting plate is a winner not to mention wine by the glass whilst sitting on the deck with amazing views of the vines and rolling hills. Don't let the dirt road deter you, it's worth it!

We were looking for something to do before heading back to Melbourne and this just hit the spot! We spent about 2 hours in the cellar door cafe drinking some amazing wine (but mostly coffee for me, drawing the short straw). The owners are there on site and talk you though the wines and take your lunch order. The wood fired pizza was really yum!Next time we have a lazy weekend I think we'll check into the B&B. Thanks Pauline and John!
