The sanctuary is quite small but it offers a lot. We did the koala encounter and we could cuddle the koala. Nice animal. Additionally there is a zone where you can food the kangaroos and the wallabies. The sanctuary is something for adults and children. We enjoyed it.

The animals here are clearly well looked after. And you are free to get close to them. It's reasonably priced (cheap even) and offers a unique experience for all ages (I'm24 and truly loved it) 10/10

The Moonlit Sanctuary is a Wildlife Sanctuary and Conservation Park in Pearcedale Vic. It is very educational and has nice grounds to walk around and view some different Aussie animals. It isn't huge but worth a visit for something different. They do night walks but we were there during the day. A fee of $50.00 approx per family isn't too excessive. The website is a good place to start as there are a few options especially for the kids. Our kids loved patting the Koala.

Happy you enjoyed your visit. The cafe is very busy for about 20 minutes every day when the bus arrives, and we are in the process of expanding the seating available. We do have picnic tables outside, mostly in shaded positions. We will also deliver your lunch order to outside tables if requested.

You must have meant hand feed a kangaroo rather than hand feed a koala, as this can be done with the special food we have for sale on entry. Koalas have very specialised diets and unfortunately it is not possible to hand feed them.

Great to hear you enjoyed our evening tour. You were lucky to be in a group of only 4 people, normally there are more. However we do limit the numbers in each group to ensure everybody has an intimate experience.

Thanks for your review. The wallabies are everyone's favorites. No we're not Melbourne Zoo, we don't have elephants or gorillas. Interestingly though we do have more species of Australian marsupials than they do!

We do have a limited number of restrictions on what can be brought into a childs birthday party so we can meet our obligation to ensure safe food for children, and ensure the welfare of our animals. We are sorry you found us rude when trying to explain this to you. It is good advice to ask questions to make sure we can provide the type of party you want. The very nature of a wildlife conservation park means we cannot meet all requests.

Thanks for your review. You give good advice regarding time of day to visit, and that applies to any animal attraction. Animals are always more active in the mornings and evenings and often want to rest in the middle of the day.
