Wow, we were able to see the koalas. Best of all, two of them were really close, because the ranger gave them some fresh eucalyptus leaves. He even explained some specialities on those creatures. Wonderful.

The information area before going outside is extremely well designed and informative, very interactive for the kids too. They loved it! We thoroughly enjoyed the boardwalk through the trees spotting the snoozy koalas and a couple of munching ones too. A great experience and awesome to get so close to the koalas. We were lucky enough to bump into a ranger who freely answered all our questions and was v knowledgable , Thankyou!

A great place to visit, you will see Koala for sure, great for the whole family. The kids will have great fun, we were there on a bus tour for the complete area and we saw 12, of course some were sleeping. There is a nice snack bar area, it can be very busy at times.

A koala walked across my path which I took as a good omen , the koalas can be seen close up we were lucky as three of them were awake which is unusual lovely forest walk.

Thoroughly wonderful way to spend a morning. The park is beautifully laid out with lots to see and great info cards on all the local birdlife.Obviously there are lots of koalas and we saw wallabies and echidnas too. Very reasonably priced and excellent fun!

Well organized and informative centre. You can get get very close to the Koala as there are high walk way accessible to all. Some visitors spoilt it as they did not have their young children under control as they ran around screaming and disturbed all. There are notices to stay quiet, but.....

We stopped off here on our way into Cowes on Phillip Island. There are several trails around the bush, and two boardwalks which let you get up close to where the koalas are sleeping and feeding. They are unbelievably cute. There is also a good shop and cafe.

Lovely place for a peaceful wander. The setting is totally natural, and the Koalas look very comfortable. Also has excellent info on the history of Koalas on the Island

This is a great place to bring small children, although don't expect a whole lot from the Koalas, there are plenty other animals to see and feed. and it brings loads of entertainment to the children. There was a lot of empty space and either unused or being refurbished.

$12 entry fee- which I think is more than reasonable, given the chocolate shop down the road charges $15 to watch them make chocolate bars?? The boardwalk allows you to see the koalas from a reasonable distance, doing what koalas do... Sleep. My visit was spoiled by the foreign tourists who arrive in large groups and don't understand "be quiet or you'll scare the koalas" ... Would be good to have some Rangers or staff in the general vicinity to remind people of this so everyone can enjoy these cute creatures. I was only there for an hour at the most, as once you've seen a few koalas, that's the extent of the entertainment. Pram friendly

We'd been in Oz nearly two weeks and knew that at some point we had to see koalas and as we were passing by this seemed as good a place as any. The entrance fee is not too expensive, although we were warned that as koalas sleep most of the time and are mainly active in the evenings, it might be possible we wouldn't be lucky in seeing any. BUT we saw at least a dozen and 3 or 4 were almost within touching distance (not that we attempted to and they do not like to be disturbed by noise). We just watched for ages, completely enraptured by these seemingly cuddly little creatures munching away without worrying about the visitors close by. There was a lot of information in the visitor centre about koalas and their habitat and the conservation of their environment. Very interesting and worth staying for a couple of hours at least.

Walk around this reserve is well worth the time. Last time we visited we hAd N elderly person in. Wheelchair and it was fairly easy to manoeuvre him around the complex. We were able to spot a number of koalas and took some really nice photos. Speak to the rangers, they are so friendly and knowledgeable.

The broadwalks takes you up closest you can get to their natural habitat. It is at this place I saw the most active koala climbing down a tree across to another and up to tip of the tree looking for more leaves to eat. There's plenty of koala you'll see here and can learn all about them at the visitor center.

We loved walking through this park and seeing the koalas up close. Got some great photos. The boardwalk is well designed and it's an easy wander through the trees, looking for the koalas.

Had a look at the Koala Conservation Centre. About 30 Koala's there in three sections. Two boardwalk sections (about 5 in each) and a 1.6 bushwalk track (supposedly 20, spotted about 6). If you don't know Koala's don't expect too much. They sit in a tree and sleep. Still they are cute. The park also has some Wallaby's and we also spotted an echidna. If you have kids, worth a look. If you are a foreign tourist, it is recommended as you see the koala's up close. Just don't make loud noises as they starle easily
