Our visit was so nice and absolute worth 14$ (concession)! Reception was very kind and helpful with the rest of our Ocean Road Trip. And the park itself was even better. There was a possibility to feed kangaroos, deers, and emus in a petting zone. You couldn`t expect the animals to be open for you all the times, they probably get so much attention, but if you were patient enough, you got to feed and pet almost all of them:)In the park there was also lot more animals, like donkeys, horses, sheep, deers and dingos (extra payment to go to their cage, but we saw that they are not that bad as their reputation. They were nice to feed and were really pet-like). This was a lot better experience than a zoo would have been, though there were not yet koalas since the park was still in process. But absolutely worth a visit,.

Very nice little wildlifepark. Staff was very friendly and we got a lot of information. For an additional $5 it was possible to go inside of the Dingocage to pat them. Loved that experience!

I came face-to-face with animals I had never seen up close before. The park is along the Great Ocean Road and therefore convenient, and owners were friendly. Highly recommend!

Visited on our honeymoon and staff were wonderful. Animals were friendly, dingos were very affectionate. Home made pizza was great. The highlight of our trip so far.

Very eco-friendly. Some kangaroos and wallabies that you can enter their big surroundings. Cute Dingos, parrots and emos. Worth a short stop.

Found this park while driving along the Great Ocean Road and decided to go in. We bought some food for $1 a bag. Went in and got to get up close and feed kangaroos, Wallabys, emus, deer. We loved the Wallabys!! They are so friendly! Managed to get lots of photos with them :)

Wasn't sure what to expect when pulling into the park, but I was blown away. The owners and workers were incredibly friendly, explaining what was in the park and how it worked. We purchased a bag of feed, and also spent the additional $5 for the Dingo exhibit. Was worth every single penny.Got to interact with emus, deer, and a llama. The kangaroos were actually a bit disappointing, as they were lounging around and weren't to into being pet.The wallabies, however, were tremendous. We spent over half an hour with them, as they loved the feed, enjoyed being pet, and were great for photos. The dingo experience was also tremendous. We got to interact with all 4, and they were incredibly playful and fun. They jump right up on you and lick your face. Got some fantastic photos. We got about 30 minutes with them.Above all, you can really feel the love for the animals and nature at this place. It was clear from the moment you walked in. A MUST SEE, and though I may not get back to this part of Australia for a few years, I will make sure to stop here again.

This gem is a short detour off the Great Ocean Road but totally worth it. The entrance fee is only $17 per adult which is much cheaper than the other major wildlife parks e.g. Halls Gap, Ballarat. Bags of animal feed cost $1 each and they are essential for an amazing experience. The staff were friendly and warm, and we were heartened by the down-to-earth and rustic charm of the place. There was hardly anyone around and we had the entire park to ourselves. We could have spent the entire afternoon there just chilling with the sheep, deer, wallabies, kangaroos, and dingoes. At the end of the park is a beautiful open field with many deer and sheep wandering around, and some of the animals were particularly friendly and craving for our feed. It was a truly magical time for the both of us.

This place is a little gem! It really is a must do stop on the great ocean road. The price is great (only $17 for adults) and the interaction with the animals is such an amazing experience. You can get up close to the majority of the animals and hand feed them without the inconvenience of a fence in the way! The staff are excellent too, really know what they are talking about, great knowledge about the area and can suggest other great things to see and do whilst on the great ocean road, very helpful. The park is undergoing some changes so some things weren't available or finished but this was fully explained before we paid and you can see that the owners are trying to make some real positive changes to the park. Overall a fantastic experience for both adults and children alike (me and my friend are both in our late 20's)! Loved it!

This is definitely the place to go to see some native (and many other) animals. All animals, especially the deer and kangaroos are extremely tame and do not mind being petted and fed.You will have a lot of time on your own since there are not many crowds. I would really recommend this!If you have the time, do the dingo experience, you will never ever come up so close to dingos again!!!

As many reviewers have pointed out, this park is by no means the finished article, but has a lovely feel. The birds they have are rescued birds that are unable to be released, so no guilt about seeing beautiful birds in fairly big aviaries. The animals seem well fed and happy and show no signs of stereotypical/repetitive behaviours as far as I could see (I'm a vet as well). No, they don't have koalas, but there are rightly rules in place in the appropriate housing of these to allow these animals to be kept that the owner is trying to meet. Her is a very spiritual guy and the park is centered on an idea of positive energy, and he has designs on establishing a healing/meditation/yoga retreat in the grounds, which would be unique in my experience. If you like to connect with animals in a peaceful (you can really feel it) environment, then come here. If you want a super-polished experience, go to Melbourne Zoo. Each to their own, but I preferred this and with more people visiting and providing support, the environment for the animals will only improve.

This place is genuine. We got to spend time with the dingo (4 of them) in the enclosure, with the owner. He was an amazing guy, passionate and genuine and he thought us about the animal. If ever around here, don't miss out! Let's learn and stop the ignorance. These animals are beautiful and they have a place in nature!

We stopped by with our 16 month old daughter, not knowing what to expect, but it was well worth the price, especially for our daughter. The guy at the check-in said it is a family run business that was bought 4 years ago, and at the time was owned by a single guy, without staff, who kept deer. They are changing it to a broader zoo, with a material 'petting zoo' section. We bought feed and entered the zoo. First there were some bird enclosures that seemed a little small, but the birds looked healthy. We then went into the petting paddocks with deer, emus, wallabies and kangaroos. The animals were comfortable around us and looked very healthy. Some took the food, others were not interested - I took this as a sign that they are well fed. The rest of the zoo is more standard, but most of the animals have lots of room - mostly deer, dingos, emus, kangaroos and alpacas. Our daughter loved the interaction with the animals and laughed and screamed with joy for almost the entire visit - it was great. As mentioned, they are upgrading the place, which was clearly tired (and had a lot of old wire where something newer would look better), but as mentioned, you can feel that there is a lot of love for the animals. One of my initial trepidations was that I would end up feeling that the animals were not well looked after and I would regret funding the place, but I ended up very pleased as the animals generally had a lot of space and they all looked healthy and happy, no signs of the neurotic behaviour you see at many zoos (constant pacing around the enclosure or aggression, for example). Even the dingos seemed cheery (and they did not try to eat our baby!). In terms of the koalas, the owners apparently had to give them back to the person who lent them to the park as her koalas died in a fire (sounds unfortunate). Apparently it is hard to acquire koalas, so not sure when they will get some more. The koala enclosure looked nice though. The whole place is 39 acres, so the back paddocks are very spacious - interestingly the lack of effort to 'present' the animals in many places makes it feel more like you are watching the animals in the wild. They are also trying to do things to make it more of an ecosystem feel, like stocking a pond in the back with local bass. I thought that was a nice touch. I would recommend the park for anyone who likes zoos and/or anyone with kids.

Really nice, and surprisingly wide (much bigger than I expected first) place. And you can feel the owner(who was a really nice fella)'s affection everywhere in this place. Though wallabies were tired of scorching sunlight, it was still adorable.Definitely a wroth visit. Recommended.
