We enjoyed a long stop over tasting wines here. The selection is wide the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The wines start at just over $20.00 to $110 a bottle. The winery is comfortable and tastefully decorated. we also bought preserves.

Hubby & I were just out for a bit of a weekend drive and saw Pizzini's A'Tavola cooking classes advertised in the local information booklet. Having driven through to the King Valley from Mansfield, when we saw the sign for Pizzini's, we exclaimed, we should stop and check it out. Located in an old Tobacco farm buildings, it's not that eye catching fron the road, but when you follow the signs through to the tasting room car park and walk across the bridge, you realise you are in for something special. The presentation is immaculate, tasteful and rural blended with comfort and luxury. Another reviewer said they weren't sure if the staff were really working or if they were just thoroughly enjoying chatting to the guests, and I have to agree, the experienced, knowledgeable and passionate staff made us feel like they had all the time in the world just for us.The wines were delicious, the coffee made especially for us, and did you hear about their Rocky Road? They even make the marshmallow! We'll definitely be back, and bring our friends.

it doesn't look much from the road, only when you venture into the cellar you see through the picture window a beautiful back drop of the garden, vineyard and the mountain range. a very personable family-run winery, i spent the afternoon tasting their wines then venturing to the garden, met madam rosa, the matriarch tending the big vegie patch, had a wonderful time talking about vegies and listening to her family history.

Great little winery, we spent 2 hours here tasting the wines with a good chat with the host and the wine maker, very friendly people

This family operated vineyard is clearly a work of pleasure so not entirely sure the staff are actually working or just enjoying the company of visitors. The setting of the vineyard is an ex-tobacco farm and the converted buildings are being put to good use. Starting off as one does with the Tasting Room you can get an excellent introduction to a range of fine wines. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful you will probably grab an antipasto platter (great value) to go with a new favourite vintage wine to enjoy in the shelter of tress or shed. Maybe have a game of bocce on the lawn ???

Manzac40
Hi Manzac40 thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you were disappointed with your day. When the lunch was planned by the organisers of your U3A group a more substantial lunch (albeit at a higher price) was put forward by me. This was rejected for a lighter, cheaper meal which was given on the day. I make no apology for the cost of the soup, we used chicken frames sourced from local Delatite Poultry for the stock, the vegetables were supplied by Bella Rocca who sources where he can from local farmers. The delicious bread from Milawa Bakery who uses excellent quality flours locally milled. All vegetables were chopped by hand by our staff and the soup served at lovely set tables. My mantra for my food is to cook dishes that are healthy and flavoursome. Thank you again for your feedback, we shall use your comments to go forward. KP

A fantastic winery that makes you feel so welcome with friendly staff providing information about the wines, the history, the area and anything else you want to know about the King Valley. A group of 11 was no trouble for the Pizzini family when we arrived on a Friday afternoon. Certainly near the top of the list when in King Valley.

Doing a pasta and gnocchi class at Pizzini wines was great fun. The teacher Katerina was professional, patient and very personable. The small class was the perfect way to learn. The lunch we cooked was enjoyed by all. It was a a great experience and I can't wait for my next class in February. Can only recommend these classes highly.

Dropped in last weekend. The staff at the cellar door were both friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. We were wanting to grab a bite to eat but unfortunately it seems (despite having a cooing school class on at the time) they do not have a restaurant...Did a few tastings and were quite impressed with the different cool climate varieties. Before we had made our mind up the cooking class came out to the large table and proceeded to devour what looked like an absolute feast in front us. Considering we were starving it was time to move on and find somewhere to eat so we hurriedly finalised our purchase and went on to the next winery.
