We biked from Ebden to Murray's Wayside Stop return. The brochure said that Ebden to The Sandy Creek bridge is great for families. I totally disagree- the surface from Ebdon to a couple of km out of Huon is woeful to say the least. Some areas are very large gravel that is very difficult to bike. You are reduced to a very narrow path and can not enjoy the views because you have to watch were you are riding. However, once you hit just before Huon the track turns into fine compacted gravel all the way to Murray's Wayside Stop - and then the fun begins! Fabulous views of Lake Hume and the Sandy Creek Bridge is brilliant to bike on - 600m! Tip: If you really want to enjoy the views start at Huon and head to Old Tallangatta. Apply insect repellent before you bike - flys are very bad.

What a great walk. At the moment the hike goes from Wodonga to Old Tallangatta, across the recently constructed Sandy Creek rail trail bridge. The hike is flat (an old railway track), and the views are fantastic. There are toilets located along the track and there are a few places that you can stop and get something to eat and drink (Wodonga, Bonegilla and Tallangatta). Along the route you will also find the Bandiana Military Museum, which is a great place to stop and spend some time
