It was a nice interior design and a good atmosphere but the cheapest bottle of wine was $40! we ordered sone food to share including the japanise sesame popcorn chicken with sesame dipping sauce and it came out soggy as if it had been microwaved. That was $15 too i wouldnt have paid $4 for that soggy garbage such a shame the emc group food departmant consistantly disappoints! yuk!

At the top of the steps, at the end of Cunningham pier in Geelong is City Quarter. The venue offers drinks and a grazing menu all day as well as gourmet pizzas and a small number of mains.We sat outside, which means we were looking over Corio Bay on a stunning Summer evening, which made the experience extra special. Apart from liking to sit outside on a nice day we also found the music a little loud inside. Maybe we are just getting old!An awesome cocktail menu is a feature, with some great new ones I hadn't encountered. Even one called "The Short Straw" for the designated driver, no alcohol, just fresh fruit..... great idea and half the price.Awesome for lunch, drinks, a light meal or whatever.Only problems, music inside too loud for a chat, and a few more pizza choices would have been good.

Good food at reasonable prices with gluten free options. Comfy lounges made for a relaxing four hour family get-together lunch. Weather was nasty outside so we couldn't sit outside on one of the decks to enjoy the view but plenty of space inside & it was nice & quiet. Pity the fire place was not functioning. Will definitely go again when next in Geelong

We came here for a late lunch one Sunday afternoon. It really wasn't that busy, but the place still had a nice ambience. There was a live acoustic band which was a nice touch. I ordered a salad and my partner a pizza- we waited a long time for it to arrive (close to an hour). When the pizza arrived it was very small... It was 13$ and my partner compared it to a frozen pizza. The salad was bigger and better value, although very oily. Suggest cq is better for just a drink and a snack than a meal. The view was nice and the decks would be lovely on a sunny day.
