We didn't know what to bring back as a souvenir from Apollo bay. This shop has lots of nice smelling soaps. However, it is very small and the road up is 100% unsealed, although we did see a wallaby on the road up there.

For those who enjoy lovely aromatics and delightful goats and kids set in a seemingly ethical farm then this is definitely worth a visit. The drive to the property is scenic and worthwhile especially for interstate visitors. The products are lovely and would make perfect gifts; even my husband enjoyed all the different and enticing smells and bought himself some shaving cream. A good place to visit as it doesnt take too much time to see and explore if you are short on time.

The wonderful smells hit you when you step in the door! We were lucky enough to catch them upon their return from selling at the market. There were plenty of aromatherapy soaps and regular soaps to choose from. They also make a men's shaving cream for sensitive skin. We also immediately used the RollOn insect repellent once we got back on the GOR.

We enjoyed the visit this morning, can't wait to use the soaps. Hubby has already used the insect repellent. Thanks for the mariners lookout tip, we loved the view. All the best with the name change.

What a beautiful spot Karmic Goats(new name) are located, it is just so serene and breathtaking, almost like stepping back in time. We were welcomed by such amazing people, who made us feel welcome with a lovely smile to compliment. The soaps all smelled wonderful, my wife also bought a little pot of lipgloss and swears by it, she said she has never felt her lips feel this great, and she suffers from cruel dry lips. And my sons skin issues have cleared since using this soap. You guys are incredible, we will be back soon to over stock ;)

We made the wrong turn in search for a Great Ocean Road view. It turned out to not be wrong at all. We stumbled upon Goats of Gaia...soon to be renamed Karmic Goat Soapworks. Beatrice, the owner was there to greet us and tell us of her hand made soaps. She has 45 goats she's milking by hand. She sells her soaps at local artisan markets as well. But lucky for me...I was able to snag some soap bars in her shop right there. She has unscented bars, bars scented with natural oils...and others with synthetic scents that tend to be a bit stronger. This was a great find and such a fun stop.

On our recent visit to Apollo Bay we visited the Goats of Gaia Soap Co shop in the surrounding hills and on arrival we were met by the bright and enthusiastic lady who runs the shop and makes the soap.It was interesting to hear about the ingredients and the various smells that go into the soap making. We purchased several different soaps to give as gifts as the prices were very reasonable. The shop has now gone wholesale, which means that you have to buy a minimum of 4 bars. The views on the way are great and you may even see some of the goats.
