Spent the long weekend camping there. Very quiet and very nice. Long plop toilet and no water to speak of (toilet gas a little for hand washing) though we managed to have a shower from the water in the rock holes on the rock. A must to get out and have a walk or you will miss what there is to see. Take the kids and spend the weekend away. Lots of lizards on the Rock and a lot of bird life around

North east of Mukinbudin or Merredin is Elachbutting Rock. Accessible via good dirt roads. It is a bit out of the way but if you have time take the effort. Not having seen Wave Rock yet but this is a spectacular rock to explore especially Monty's Pass and some people say it is better then Wave rock. Has camping, picnic and toilets.
