What a brilliant opportunity to enter a real time warp. The workshops are as they were left when closed and you can see it, feel it and smell it. Fascinating large wooden sheds with an amazing collection of tools and machinery the likes of which you will not see in other places such as Sydney's Powerhouse Museum.

This is a wonder- it appears that on the day the workshop closed all tools were laid down, the fire in the boiler doused, and the last one out just closed the door. Last weekend we visited the workshops, where Museum quality machinery and skills and crafts and yes, the ghosts reside. Congratulations to the loyal band of volunteers who keep it looking this way, and run the steam machines 2nd Sunday every month for visitors.
