This was a picturesque area, such a great spot for a walk and a picnic! It's definitely underrated and very badly signposted but we'll worth the trip.

Great walks both around the lake (found a few orchids on the way around which was a nice surprise) and the newer area (where the grevilleas in particular are stunning). facilities are good with lots of picnic tables etc

Well maintained park with lots of interesting walks to go on, maze and chess set. We had a super day with kids kicking the football, having a picnic lunch and marvelling at the beautiful public park. Congratulations to the group who maintain it so well.

The pinkish tinge is interesting. I was amazed at the bird life around the lake walk. It's on the way back from the great ocean drive towards town loop. Nice walk with lots to relax and observe.

This is a wonderful place to go and visit so long as you are happy to get lost and backtrack on the paths. The signage is not the best and a lot of the paths are now very overgrown. The facilities are ok and we enjoyed the maze and the chess. The best part of this area is the orchids. At this time of the year they are everywhere.

Views of the lake late afternoon from the part you see opposite the entrance were great. The reflections on the water, a photographer's dream. We went back and did the boardwalk and crossed the road to the area where a circular drive takes you around a little reserve of identified tree species and other points of interest.
