I enjoyed this beach for a few reasons. It was not crowded. There is space for kids to play... The waves weren't huge but they weren't flat either. There are only 2 spots for chairs and umbrellas...so BYOAnything you need. parking was also easy. It's also another beach you can hang out at until late afternoon.

The beach at Cortovelo is named after a part of your anatomy in the middle of your arm. An elbow is not the most beautiful part of a body but this is one of the most beautiful beaches near Natal. Away from the gutter clutter of Ponte Negro this is a beautiful beach with two good value and picturesque restaurants at the cliff top on end of the beach. It's an unpretentious little beauty not too far from the gridlock of Natal.

Nice and quiet place to sit down and relax! No service available so pack the basics. Way nicer than famous Pipa.

If you are visiting natal and do not have much time, take a taxi e go to cotovelo beach. after 12 km and ca. 40 Reais you will be in a beautiful beach. Very good if you have children due to the restaurant infrastructure and calm see to swim.

This is a small beach in Natal. Locals like it very much because it is near the city but not in the city. Two main restaurants can be used as beach points. The smaller one is cheaper and in my opinion better.

This place has a great view and it is really good for those who a totally beginners surfing.There two restaurants at the falesias and the falesia , it self has highlight.

We have been to Praia di Cotovelo twice now and have enjoyed our holiday there both times. We stay at one end and there are 2 beach bars and restaurants at the other end, which serve good food. I really enjoy the walk along the beach each day providing the tide is right as it comes up quite high. Although it is difficult to swim as the waves crash down, it is great to go into the water to cool down. Most of the time there are very few people on the beach apart from near the beach bars.

Without doubt the nicest beach on the litoral in NatalThe water is clean (not like the other beaches in the city)there is a quiet area for childrens, and more activ area for kite surf on the other part2 restaurants and one nice Pousada with nice view

I am not sure why I didn't like this beach but i wasn't impressed. the water was murky, could have been the day we went but overall wasn't the best vibe. I like Praia de Pirangi Norte and Buzios much better.

We had a great time at this beach. Is really close to Natal downtown, so when we went for some plane no so good, we returned for this beach, because is always good. There is a nice restaurant with good food at a reasonable price, and you can have a lunch looking the waves. Is really lovely and poorly known. You can rent a surf or body boarding and play in the beach. I highly recommend in Natal

There's a place that serves seafood by the beach, decorated with giant crabs outside.Nice food, and a perfect spot to chill while the kids enjoy the beach.Calm waters, perfect for kids.

Excelente praia. Uma barraca maravilhosa no local que oferece um peixe cozido com coco bastante legumes. A praia maravilhosa pra tomar banho e muito segura.

Praia de veraneio dos potiguares, estive lá algumas vezes, e sempre guardo lembranças boas. Sempre acontecem eventos, e é extremamente próximo da barreira do inferno (lançamento de foguetes brasileiros).

o hotel que fiquei tava de frente a praia luga de lido so casão um bom bairro para fica hospedada traquilo de mais a noite vai para o agito e pode descansar
