There's nothing to dislike on these beaches, sorry... Warm sea, good food, nice buggy rides :) If something, the beaches don't have a life-safer on duty, so don't take chances on swimming to far into the ocean.

For me this is The best of Natal. Must go, must see, must have fun! I loved it. Dislike...O liked it!

Very beautiful place, clean waters but please don't eat there. Just if you like to eat with flies. They are everywhere. Fortunately we didn't catch any disease but it was even hard to eat that. And the food there is not very cheap. And if you don't want to rent a buggy or eat in a "restaurant", they won't leave you in peace.I won't come back.

Possibly one of the best beaches in the North East of Brazil, long smooth sandy beach with sand dunes at the end, safe for swimming and surfing, there are excellent restaurants where you can taste the best feijoada and bacalhau.

Everybody in the town jumps to the car to offer a parking spot, an even using a closed park, our stuff was stolen from the car inside of the parking. Is sad, because is obvious that there're a lot of people involved. The parking guys in the streets, the parking owner itself and inclusive the people on the beach locking for clients for the beach restaurants. Furthermore, no police officer is present in Kms because was Sunday!! (Just he main police office IN ALL NATAL was open). The incident happened in Puosada Laiz, I. It's parking lot. In front of many people. Be carefull.

The ride from the hotel to the dunes is amazing. Wonderful beaches are on the way and the boogy gives you the chance to enjoy the wind on your face.

This is representative enough of Brazil North coast crowded with huge dunes, wild beaches and caju trees.

Beautiful place, Great "bugue" ride. The view is amazing, the dunes and the lake on one side and the sea on the other. Go on and visit the lakes, Lagoa de Jacumã e Pitangui where you can Try the "esquibunda" ( something like skiing on your butts) where you sit on a wooden board and go down the dunes and stop into the water, or aerobunda , where you sit on a cable chair, go down and jump , falling into the water.

The dune buggy tour was as thrilling as any roller coaster ride! The drivers were really friendly....the beaches were beautiful...and a stop at the beach shops before heading back. This is a great attraction and a great way to spend a few hours in Natal!

big dunes, white sand, coconut trees, lakes and sea. Not built by man. It's already there before us.

It is wonderful, great beach, nice sand, hot hot sun, warm water, quiet, good people, nice food... It is one of the places that even brazillians goes on vacation. To know Brazil, you must visit all northeast beaches.

We had very high expectations about this place, since in printed material, videos and others it seemed to be one step before paradise. Howecer, as in many other places of Rio Grande do Norte, we were desappointed by the primitivity of the infrastructure and for the lack of a decent place to stay. The same, as in other beaches we visited, noisy beach shore where loud portable sound boxes, beach sellers and (specially here) jeep roar mix to make your beach time a horrendous experience. There are excursions of lower social level tourists whose paper cups, bottles, plastic bags and all kind of detrits are left on the sand for you to see and for the flies to visit. We definitely found only one decent place in Rio Grande do Norte that could be considered an international attraction, that is Praia de Pipa, to the south of the state. If your thing is a lot os sand, noisy and ugly people and a lot of dirt, this maybe your place, if not, head to Praia de Pipa.

Some of the most beautiful dunes I have ever seen.

Nice beach, but bars are overpriced. Well worth mainly for the buggy ride at the "Dunas"

Genipabu was a little over-rated. The way to the village was not pleasant (dirty, uncared for etc)
