I took the tour offered by them where you get to see the steps of the wine making, in my opinion it could be better explained. After the tour they will take you to taste two types of wine and two types of sparkling wine and if you wish you can buy some of their products in the factory store.

Make sure to participate in one of the premium tastings. They are either R$40 or free with a voucher from Hotel & Spa do Vinho across the street. Try the 2011 Millesime sparkling wine as well as the Sesmaria.

If you love your wine, it is intriguing to go and check Brazil's wine growing region. Miolo is the biggest and most developed of all and the wine isn't bad. It's not awesome, but it's not bad. The broader region is certainly worth an explore and if you wanted to go behind the scenes of a working winery then Miolo is decent place to do it.

The guided visit takes about 20 minutes where 3 basic explanations are given. I was frustrated, because the parts of the winery visited were not really used to produce wine, they were there to be showed to tourists. At the end of the tour, you have the change to taste 3 different wines. It is not a course or anything like that, you pretty much have the chance to taste wines before being directed to a store.

A good stop on a tour through the wine area of gramado/ garibaldi. Very touristic, with tourist prices. You can join a guided tour through the winery, but its only in portuguese, also a lesson how to drink wine is available...and of course you can try several wines. In the shop you can buy all ki ds of wine. I recommend the tannat, hard to get in europe. Even cosmetics, based on grapes and wine is available.

Unlike some other viniculas this wine house actually shows and tells something instead of basically being a commercial to buy wine. We did the tour which was still R$ 10 (will be R$ 15 starting from feb 2014). Our tour guide told lots of interesting things about wine production and tasting. We tasted 4 wines which were all very good. The tasting session was in a stylish room, using good wine glasses. An impressive part (to us) was the 24 types of grapes, from each of which they had a row of plants growing. To improve the tour, more could be told and shown about the differences between the types of grapes, how they grow, how they're harvested etc.50% of the entrance price can be used as a discount to buy some wine -- which you'll probably do :).

A pretty spot to stop and enjoy a wine tasting after a leisurely drive through the countryside. The tour is interesting and there's a good selection of wine for sale. The three of us who took the tour were ushered into an upstairs room for the wine tasting which felt rather isolating; I would have preferred to join the noisy gathering on the main floor. I found the whole operation very touristy - they definitely know how to capitalize on their success, they've even added a hotel to the site! The grounds are nice to walk around and there's a pond behind the main building with fish and a stand of trees beyond, where a friend opted to fly kites rather than imbibe more wine. Worth a stop but the small wineries are more interesting and less commercial

We did the wine tasting - and they were all terrible!I got the "golden" ticket and my husband got the "silver". Either way, they were all just too bad.My husband started joking about what the wines tasted like - he came up with "foot odor" and "manure". We were under the impression they poured the worst wine in the house so they could save some money (and waste ours!). The place itself is nice, but for a winery, they should offer better wines.

We were not interested in a tour or a formal (R$10) tasting. Once they determined we spoke english we were connected with an person in the store who helped us and gave us a couple of complimentary tastings. This winery has grown in the last 7 years since our first visit and with that growth comes higher prices. We did not spend much time here but we did buy a couple of wines and a grappa. We brought the grappa back to Canada. We sampled it and found it very acceptable.

reminds me of wineries in Napa. Very comercial and turistic. Definitely interesting but other local wineries will offer you a better experience and more attention!

Vale a pena!

Vale a pena visitar.

Vale a pena.
