If you go to Gramado, this place is a must visit! They have only animals from Brazil. Some birds are free, we saw some beautiful toucans, the guacamayos flew over our heads! I like it very much!

It was very funny being close to some animals, like the birds walking among guests. I liked the idea of a zoo which has only brazilian animals. I think the price is a little high, but when you consider the preservation of species, we don`t mind helping. The food court could be better. The gift shop has abusive prices.

Great place for family, friends and kids. Very natural setting, where you will see animals only found here in Brazil. Your will be so close to parrots and macaws, that they might give a little tug on your jacket or sweater. Lots of animals in a beautiful natural setting! Don't miss this!

Good to see Brazilian animals rescued and kept in proper conditions. As we've been there in the winter, some tropical species were not available. If you've been to Temaiken, this Zoo seems a smaller version, but still pricey.Down point is the Snack Bar.Bottom line: our little boys loved the experience, so it was worth going.

It's a little pricy but necessary if you want to have a peaceful and organized place. At the entrance, you'll walk literally among the birds into a huge cage with parrots, yellow, red and blue macaws, toucans etc.. flying over your head and almost touching them... really impressive.Keeping walking you'll have the experience to be close to different species of monkeys, wolves, and some wild cats... all those natural from Brazilian's fauna.Your kids will love it.You'll be offered to visit the "Parque Gaucho" for just 10,00BRL plus... don't waist your money on it... it really doesn't worth the money and time wasted there.

Perfect Zoo to get in contact with the nature. The birds fly around you and stand still for a picture. Interesting to learn about brazilian fauna, because there are only brazilian animals and it is very well signalized with good and short information. Clean and tidy. 2-3 hours visit is enough.

Great variety of animals. Ok, that's a zoo by definition right? That's also where the standard definition ends. It's in a preserved park, i.e. the animals are not exactly in cages. When necessary, you are isolated from them, otherwise, they walk and/or fly around you. That's cool. It is also mainly built with animals captured from the hands of smugglers (mostly international ones)! And THIS IS REALLY cool because, you know what, it's really not funny when people come from other countries to steal and take away these animals. A must have experience in Gramado. One of the best zoos I've ever been to. Really enjoyed it. Lots of information as well. Try to read whatever you find.

I knew because of other people experience that this was a good zoo but, as a matter of fact, it exceeded my expectations. Very well maintained, the animals care is clear as there is good place for them. Every thing well maintain and clean. Information about every animal. I like it a lot. Even I prefer the Sao Paulo's one it is a very good zoo too. When we went there was the pinguins feeding at 11:30 when you can see how the biologists feed the birds. The lady who did it was very nice, explained several things about the magellian pinguins, in particular that, by the second year they are reproducing in the zoo.I loved also the posibility of walking in the middle of the parrots and toucans.

Gramado zoo is a good place to take your children to. Right in the begining they introduce you to the zoo by a video. By the time I was there, the video was in portuguese. Not sure about other languages. When you open the door to the zoo you get into a place where there are plenty of birds kind of "free" flying around. Parrots, Arara Azul among others. Very nice to see they around you and happy. After that you find other animals tipical from Brazil in their environments. You can do the 7Kms by walking or by paying a car to take you. I believe walking is better so you can spend the time you want seeing the animals. I went with my daughter and husband and it was a very good place to visit in Gramado. I recommend. The only thing that does not let me give 5 stars to it is the price. Its very expensive for Brazil standards.

The entrance part of the zoo is the best, while walking inside a big area where parrots and other birds are flying around you. It's clear that all animals are well kept, and also the whole area.A big variaty of animals from all over Brazil, many of them endangered. The enterance fee is a little bit high.

I've been to 3 Zoos here in Rio Grande do Sul. Zoologico de São Leopoldo, Pampa Safari and Gramado Zoo. I gotta say, the first two are pretty depressing. But Gramado Zoo is different, they take a really good care of the animals and they are worried about the reproduction of species in danger of extintion. That, to me, is the best part of the Zoo.What I liked the most was the bird cage... The toucans came so close... I took awesome pictures of them. And I was lucky to be there around 16 pm, which is when they feed the penguins. Sooo fun!!!

Amazing Brazilian Birds and animals in their natural habitat. Congratulations on such a great exhibit.

The interaction with the animals is big, and the infrastructure is very good, not has anything similar at it in Brazil . Perfect for childrens. When we went, the place was empty, we did the way to the end and not find anyone.

The zoo is very nice, there is an open place with free birds around, awesome exposition! A lot of different Brazilian animals! The restaurant is clean and has good options, all the zoo is organized and clean. We just think the people who serve at the restaurant was in a bad mood the day we went... And we didn't think the "Banhado" (like wetlands) was safe, look like the elevated wood bridge was not too safe...But it's fun for all the family, it's not so cheap though, around R$30 per person...

Small Zoo, exclusively from Brazilian fauna. Nothing special, but better than a normal zoo. You get very close from some of the animals.
