The hostel is okay but way to expensive. They also try to charge more money for everything. Pay more for a night, laundry suddenly changed prices. If I were you I should try another hostal. Oh, maybe when you like loud music or dogs chassing you, it's the best hostal ;-)

They made us pay 60 the first night and 75 the second. Bedside that there is a sign that says 10 per kilo, suddenly I paid 60 for 4 kilo!? The staff is unreasonable bad!! Dont recommand this place guys.

Oscars no es caro lo que pasa es que personas inescrupulosas están destruyendo el turismo en rurrenabaque bajando todo el tiempo los precios de los servicios, y bajar los precios no mejorará los servicios turísticos

after being traveling every day with a tight schedule and after my both tour experiences....this place was the perfect place, i got an awesome view of Rurenabaque and I could relax ....thank good it was sunny that day.

The pool is nice, especially since our hostel didn´t have one, but the price is too high. Also, they played the music so loud that we couldn´t even have a decent conversation. The place has got a lot of potential though..

the price of one caipiriña so so so expencive, so so so so desapointed of a dirty pool, but the garden and the WC was clean, the staff kind of friendly :/

If you want to party by the pool this is for you. Loud music and brown bodies everywhere. You can play pool, volley ball, eat, drink, dance and dip in the pool. The views are also stunning especially at sunset. For me I prefer a larger pool so I can actually swim not just cool off and quieter music so I can relax and it is expensive. Nice place, just not for me.

There is another pool just beyond oscars with clean water (water in oscars was green) decent food, nice views and half the price! Even if the moto taxi takes you to oscars (as ours did, despite instruction) you can jist walk through and you'll find the other pool in 2 mins

Good place to hang out if you have a couple of days in Rurre. Expensive though at 40bs in even if you buy food and drink. Pool wasnt crystal clear. Tunes pumping and they changed the music if wasnt too your liking. Enjoyable day.

Contrary to what people (motor taxi drivers) tell you, it's a easy walk to this swimming pool. Just walk the main road to the airport, and then ask the locals where to go. It's about 10/15 minutes from the center, and on the exit of the village a little road up the hill to the right.Once you enter the area there's and entrance fee of about 40 Bs., but it;s worth it. Not only is there beach volleyball, a poker table, a pool table and a pool, but also a huge terrace with bar, a restaurant and widescreen television. We watched a European Cup match here, chilling to the max.Only thing I didn't like was the music, which was really loud and often Hebrew. I came there to chill, not to party. Our hostel staff warned us about this in advance though, and told us there was another, quieter pool, if we liked.
