The tour with Glaciar Sur was outstanding! Different to other tours, it was exclusively a total of 9 persons to be allowed in that area of the Los Glaciares Nationalpark on that day (Maximum of 14). Without the mass of tourist and so much tranquility, we were able to experience nature in its full beauty. We had the guide named Colores. He was super funny and helpful with everything we needed. It was really fun having him around showing and explaining us everything about the National Park. We really enjoyed his companion! Also, when we arrived in Calafate, and didn't really had a clue what to do regarding tours and food and everything, Dafne, the agent from Glaciar Sur helped us with such passion, and in a very honest way. From the day we booked the tour to the very last minute of the tour, everything was perfect.

What a privilege and pleasure to feel amongst the few who have experienced this part of Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia! I want to shout from the jagged mountains and tell the world how amazing this excursion is and how majestic and mind-blowing the landscapes you see on it are. Glaciar Sur "Aventura" is a full-day, expertly coordinated and guided excursion deep into a remote corner of Patagonia that in the past only mountaineers could reach. Thanks to the team at Glacier Sur they have brought this remote and beautiful corner to the world and made it accessible to adventurous tourists staying in El Calafate. The day consists of a navigation in a very clean and comfortable boat along the Southern Arm (Brazo Sur) of Lake Argentino. Disembark at an impossibly remote and scenic point, the southernmost of Lake Argentino, and then continue on a moderate hike through the lovely nothofagous forest. Then you reach the impossibly beautiful Lago Frias which has a brilliant deep blue-green hue and is crowned by mountains and cleaving glaciers. Navigate in zodiac boats across this mountain lake to the other side where you will then continue hiking further in a glacier-carved valley for a couple hours. The water in the streams is so pure you can refill your water bottles right there! The last part of the walk is a little rocky but the reward is priceless: there in front of you is an iceberg filled lake with the three glaciers cascading into it. You can descend down and fish out chunks of the millennial ice to hold in your hands. The sensation of being in this remote and wild place truly defies any words I can write about it. Nor do the photos do it justice. And knowing that you are one of very few people that will ever step foot there is quite powerful as well.If you are fit enough for a day of moderate hiking and love nature, you will be amazed and awed by this day out in Patagonia. This is one of the best-kept secrets of El Calafate! Thank you to our guide and to everyone at Glaciar Sur for such an amazing and unforgettable experience!

This is teh most amazing tour in Calafate area. Only 14 people allowed in this area of the national park, trekking through amazing landscapes we were able to see rivers, lakes, waterfalls, a dry river ans finally a beautiful lake with icebergs. The tour is called adventure and its a real adventure.

i cannot even explain it, you will have to see the pictures to understand (for some reason, it wouldn't let me add, sorry!).it was hike of about 6 hours in total. we walked, took two boats and no matter where you looked, the view was gorgeous so time flew. at the end, we reached the most fascinating place. a point where three glaciers meet (el cubo, el grande and el dickson). The crew was super friendly and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The lunch could have been a little better but honestly, i am not one to expect a 5 star menu when the view is so ridiculous, i'm not picky. it was by far the most rewarding experience. it was worth every single penny.

Llevar ropa adecuada. y a disfrutar.

Se explora una de las zonas del Parque Nacional Los Glaciares menos visitada y conocida. Todo perfectamente bien manejado y unas vistas que te quitan la respiración. Súper recomendable.
