recommended by friends, we had a great time with the team and learn a lot with our guide. We recommend this agency!

Very nice tour in a smaller boat when compared to the other options. As a consequence, the service is better and you can take your time when taking pictures or listening to the guide.Very friendly staff and the boat is also new and clean. In Feb, 2015 we paid ~600 pesos/person.

Had a wonderful experience travelling through the Beagle Canal. The trip was great, loved the sights as well as the short trekking on the Bridge Island. The snack given was also a nice plus.

Well organized, with friendly guide and crew .Many and good information in Spanish and English. The boat is smaller than the other tours which makes it a more intimate tour. They also serve coffee and hot chocolate and cookies. It's very, very cold and windy (and we were in the summer) and the sea little bit choppy. You will see Sea Lions and Birds and will take a walk on a environment protected island...

Simply wonderfull. We would definitively recommend this tour. It was relaxing and a fantastic way to enjoy the sight, the surrounding and Beagle Channel. We appreciate the staff that was informative, kind, careful and friendly. The boat is not huge and so it permit to see closer animals and vegetation. We take a lot of pictures!!!! They offer us snacks: biscuits with hot beverages. We are lucky to have spent our time with lovely and funny people. Really suggested!!!

A well constructed expedition, brilliantly narrated by a young lady, a native of Ushuaia. I wish I could remember her name, although I have a photo of her, which I will include. She was very knowledgeable about the whole experience. What particualrly endeared her to us was her detailed knowledge and enthusiasm for the birdlife of the area. A full morning well spent.

It can certainly be confusing as you walk among the excursion stalls at the pier -- trying to decide which tour operator to take. They can all blend into one -- and it's hard to tell the difference. This is THE TOUR to take. It's bilingual in Spanish and English. The crew is very attentive -- and the captain will guide the boat so that you can always see the attractions such as the Eclaireurs Lighthouse, and sea lions. The tour also stops at a beautiful small island so that you can take a short hike and see indigenous flora.

A truly bi-lingual tour. You get up close to the wildlife, but without distressing them. You won't see penguins on this trip - but we did see them swimming so were lucky, but we go very close to sea lions. Great balance between informative, fun and professional. Well worth doing.

Excellent trip on an iconic stretch of water. Guide very knowledeable and took trouble with us as the only two english speakers on board. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

The staff was really, absolutely awesome (Lucciano Mathieu was our young, energetic, entertaining & charismatic guide) and the totally amazing dexterity of the Captain allows for the boat to be within feet of the small islands you navigate by to respectively see the sea lions, the cormorans and the famous lighthouse. You also go for a short walk on an islet to see some archeological sites (Aymara Indians' shelter grounds). Coffee and (good) cookies are served complimentary. A raffle at the end of the trip allows you to win the Argentinian flag flown on the bow of the boat during your excursion, with a simple expectation in return: for you to email them back a picture of you flying the flag in your home country: brilliant! We thoroughly enjoyed it and we are hard customers to please.

We booked Patagonia Explorer remotely and based on some friends' recommendations. The idea was just to fill a gap in our schedule once down in Ushuaia for a few days. Instead, it has been the highlight of the entire experience in Tierra del Fuego. We went to the harbour and picked up the tickets we reserved via email. Staff has been very kind since the beginning. The motor-yacht came to pick us up and the adventure started. It has been a navigation, for a few hours, of the Beagle channel in a windy, gorgeous but very cold day. It has been memorable. The boat is big, safe and clean. The staff on board was fantastic, with a very passionate and fluent (English and Spanish) guide telling us more about the local people who was living in the channel in the centuries and more about the local animals and islands we would have encountered and explored. The captain was smiling all the times, very brave and professional with managing the boat in that weather and absolutely committed to bring us to all the best spots for sightseeing. They have been great, genuinely. It has been a lot of fun, as the rest of the people on board were having fun as well. We did some navigation around the key islands, disembarked at one place for a good walk and we also played some games. Definitely recommended, a must "to do" in Ushuaia.Well done, crew!!

This was a very informative trip that gets you really upclose to the wildlife in Beagle channel including the Sea lions and different types of cormorants . You also get to trek on one of bridges's islands in the middle of the bay where boat lands for a while. The views are amazing.Luciano the tour guide was phenomenal and very informative and had answers for everything I chucked at him. The boat crew are really friendly. One crewmember from Cordoba was thrilled I knew who Mario Kempes was!!!(Argentinian Football star from the 70's) They also provide coffee or hot chocolate and cookies to warm up after enjoying the view and taking pictures from outside the cabin. My only gripe ? He "cheats" on the surprise!!! He doesn't show you the number!!! ;)

Our cruise on the Patagonia Adventure Explorer was one of the high points of our visit to Tierra del Fuego. Our guide, Luciano, was knowledgeable, personable, and humorous. It was thrilling to visit sea lions in their natural habitat. I recommend this tour of the Beagle Channel enthusiastically.

Patagonia Adventure Explorer is more than awesome!I visited Ushuaia's lighthouse with this tour on 17 December 2014.Initially, I didn't plan to visit the lighthouse because I had no interest in this kind of thing at all. But after I realized I had a free half-day, I and my friends decided to try as the price is cheaper than I thought too.And Patagonia Adventure Explorer changed my view of this tour and the lighthouse ever since!Much of this memorable experience was attributed to our great guide Luciano. He enjoyed walking us through the history of Ushuaia. Unexpectedly, he smoothly blended historical, geographical, botanical, cultural, and anthropological matters together in easy and interesting words that anyone can follow. :)Honestly, I never met a tour guide who has as diverse and sophisticated knowledges like the guide of this company before. That is wonderful!Best of all, the atmosphere of all 4 hours on boat was very family-like. I usually feel awkward with other tour agencies, no matter how friendly they pretended to be. But that feeling didn't happen with Patagonia Adventure Explorer at all! Here, I felt like going with family members, who are wise at inserting (not pushing) interesting and good amount of facts at proper time.Lastly, guide Luciano gave me a try of Yerba Mate, a kind of traditional drink widely popular in South American countries. I think it was not a part of the tour, but someone asked him about this so he took his drink set out to show us.I saw that drink before and it looked like some drugs to me.However, it's indeed a great type of tea with a unique way of preparation. It tasted like a mix between Chinese Oolong tea and Japanese Green tea, infused with somewhat bitter flavor.Thank you Patagonia Adventure Explorer very much for this impressive experience. If I have a chance to visit Ushuaia again, taking a tour with Patagonia Adventure Explorer will definitely be my first priority.Ming NatdanaiThailand

We did the tour on the Beagle's Channel with Patagonia Adventure and we loved it! The guide, Lilia, the sailor, Alvaro, and the pilot, Silvio, are wonderful, friendly and always ready to make the tour the best. We saw cormoranes and lobos, we were so near that we could almost touch them. The final surprise is really nice!
