lutsk synagogue

It's only the name for a building. It used to be synagogue long ago and now this is a sport center. Nothing to do with a real historical place. You would guess that this is something only reading the plate in front of building

Here is a sport club instead of Siinagogue. Very strange, how it could be in European country... In 21 century... The building is about 300 years old.

Объект вызывает смешанные чувства. С одной стороны объект является прекрасным и достаточно редким примером оборонительной синагоги 17-го века, сохранившейся до наших дней. С другой стороны удивляет, что еще с советских времен здание используется как спортзал.

A Lutsk si trova anche questa sinagoga, la cui costruzione fu autorizzata dal re polacco Sigismondo III nel XVII a beneficio dell'importante comunità ebraica locale a patto che la stessa assolvesse oltre che alla funzione religiosa anche ad una funzione difensiva della città, da cui il nome di Piccolo Castello. Dal punto di vist architettonico e artistico non si tratta di nulla di particolare. Visitata lo scorso 21 agosto.
